**Due to the impact of severe tropical cyclone Jasper and the associated flooding, there have been some itinerary changes to ensure you still have a great time in the Daintree Rainforest.**
The temporary itinerary includes: return transfers from Cairns, Port Douglas and Northern Beaches, Scenic Coastal Drive, Daintree River Cruise with light morning tea of coffee, tea and biscuits, Interpretative drive over the Alexandra Range, Guided beach walk, Lunch in a rainforest setting, Tropical fruit ice-cream (included), Daintree River ferry crossing, Mossman Gorge guided rainforest walk on a selection of trails and elevated boardwalks (easy grade), visit the Mossman River Lookout and Suspension Bridge and enjoy an invigorating freshwater swim (swim is subject to river conditions).
This is the Original Daintree Rainforest Tour, locally owned and operated for over 36 years! Embark on a packed full-day adventure to Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef.

And outstanding trip. Gavin was so knowledge, welcoming, and fun. Saw 4 crocodiles, a Ulyasise butterfly, a hundred wallabies, countless birds, a waterfall and the ancient rainforest. Even the food and icecream catered for vegans. He went out of his way to accommodate. Could not recommend more highly.

Highly recommend the Daintree day trip from Cairns. Our guide Andrew was amazing and told us so many great stories throughout the day. He was really passionate and enthusiastic and his mood infectious. Yes you spend a lot of time in the van but it was comfortable and the views were beautiful so we didn’t mind. Cape tribulation was not part of the trip due to the cyclone still, hopefully that will change soon. Lunch and ice cream were plentiful and delicious. We had a wonderful time. It’s also a local tour company which is nice.

We have been on numerous expedition tours and accept that nature isn’t scripted. We are more than happy to embrace whatever experience our guide is able to expose us to on the day. Therefore, a guide can obviously make or break the day. Our guide, Gavin (Gav), was the epitome of a great guide. He arrived on time, ensured people were positioned within the 4WD vehicle according to their abilities, continually communicated with guest as to their individual needs and offered numerous convenience stops if required. As a horticulturist, Gav was a wealth of information on all things rainforests. He did his absolute best in exposing any camouflaged wildlife that did its best in not being exposed. We never felt rushed and Gav was able to modify the itinerary on the run as things out of his control changed. Gav’s enthusiasm was infectious during a great day out.

The tour was a lot of fun! Our tour guide Gavin was very funny and explained a lot during the trip.
On the river trip we even saw a crocodile! We had lunch in the middle of the rainforest!
After that we drove to a spot where they had unusual ice cream flavors.
Then we did a short tour in the Daintree Rainforest (Mossman Gorge).
Great view!
Finally we made a short stop at a river and looked for crocodiles. And we even found some. In the distance you could see a crocodile on the river bank.
I can recommend the tour to anyone who is in or near Cairns! Another plus point is that you were picked up from the hotel (we were in Palm Cove) and brought back.

Loved our tour with Graeme. Saw some spectacular scenery around the Daintree and Mossman Gorge. Loved the boat trip on the beautiful Daintree River. Highly recommend this relaxing way to see the Daintree highlights.

Amazing day. Grahame was an encyclopedia of knowledge from botany, history and ecological state of the rain forest. Wonderful day of sightseeing, visits and experiences with commentary throughout. We did not get to Cape Tribulation itself due to the after effects, and continuing restoration, of the devastating floods of Dec 23 - what we saw, though was probably as beautiful.
Highly recommended

The whole experience was amazing, from the tour itself to the places we visited, and our driver had a wealth of knowledge about the local area. The service from The Billy Tea Staff was excellent from our booking of the tour, first Class. My wife has dietary concerns, but our driver made sure she was looked after. This tour is well worth going on. Well done Bill Tea Safaris Team.

Gorgeous.
Guide Daniel adorable and knowledgeable to talk about plants.
The timing is respected despite the work.
No Cape Tribulation but another beach (rainy weather).
Thank you so much.
