The tour was very good. Pascal, the guide, was outstanding. Probably the best guide I've ever had on an excursion. His knowledge and the way he conveyed the information made us feel as close to having been there as possible. We visited Omaha Beach, Pointe-du-Hoc, and the American Cemetery at Colleyville. Pascal gave us an overview of events that led up to the war, the way the war progressed, and a detailed description, including diagrams in the sand, of D-Day. The cemetery was very moving. You have no idea of the magnitude of the sacrifice until you see 9,700 graves going on and on forever. And are then told that 60% of the families of the soldiers who died there opted to have their loved ones repatriated. Excellent tour.

Our guide Christian was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and the DDay invasion. His background information and stories made the history come alive. He was passionate about sharing his expertise with us.
Also I had seen pictures of the American Cemetery many times but they do not prepare you for the emotion of actually standing on the spot.

We did the morning half day tour with Pierre-Alexandre. He was a great guide, so knowledgeable and he brought it all to life with his folder of maps and pictures and interesting stories.
We had plenty of time to spend at each location and were able to go inside a German bunker.
It was coming up to the 80th anniversary of D-Day and we were lucky enough to have a group of fighter jets fly over very close to us while we were standing there.
The cemetery and surrounds were beautifully done, a lovely tribute to all the fallen soldiers.

Tour guide Juliette was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable, with a great sense of story. She studied history in college, specializes in WW2, and grew up in Normandy. My wife and I both have moderate knowledge of WW2 and Juliette tailored her approach accordingly. You can tell she’s passionate about the subject matter. From her answers to our questions, it was clear she could have gone into waaay finer detail, both in terms of the small and big picture. The vans (Mercedes) were clean and comfy, and Juliette gave us ample time to explore on our own. She’s great. The locations were extremely moving. And i liked the size of the group—not a mega bus type thing, but cozier and more intimate.
