Excellent tour, the ship is amazing. The history of this fast tea and wool ship is very interesting.

Walking through history in a very well preserved ship.
Of our encounters with the staff , we found them to be very knowledgeable and they were clearly interested in the subject matter of their jobs.

I am a person in a wheelchair and while I'm not a boat person, I like the romance of old, masted ships. I've never gotten into ships and maritime museums because I've never been able to get onto and through ship tours. It's always been dock level and the rest is by stairs or I can't even get onto the ship.
Imagine my surprise to find the "Cutty Sark" FULLY wheelchair accessible. The entrance leads into a large, spacious gift shop. The decks are laid out in wide paths and one hold entry-point has been fitted with an elevator that stops on every deck. The entry into a crews quarters on the top deck wasn't accessible but other quarters had windows to look into. I've never been on the top deck of a ship before and even to my seasick, landlubber's heart, it was exhilarating, although the masts and rigging made me dizzy.
The staff were great and open and helpful. I found the historic info and pictures easily readable. I recommend this to any one who has a ship fanatic in a wheelchair.

The entrance ticket price is far too expensive, £25 per adult is way over the top. Was good to see the deck of the cutty sark and pleased it's restored after the fire. The cafe isn't very good as my cake was stale and tea was odd flavour.

The Cutty Sark is a museum ship. We could go to two floors and top but I was a little disappointed that more of the interior was not visible. We were able to do this visit in an hour so it felt a bit expensive. Tickets can be bought on arrival.

A beautiful ship. Very interesting history she has. Well preserved. Unfortunately the ticket price is very high, especially in relation to time spent.

Very interesting visit telling you about the ship and the origins and trade in tea. The cafe beneath the hull was pleasant. Although a little disappointed the gift shop didn't sell Cutty Sark branded tea. :-(

Yes it's expensive. But the visit is very well organized. From the holds to the upper deck you can get an idea of the life of sailors. Numerous activities and the possibility of passing under the bow, in dry dock before leaving the premises. It’s a shame that the shell covering is so unsightly and prevents you from admiring the whole thing.
