This former gold mill in the northern part of Aruba hints at the island's relatively unknown gold rush. First discovered in 1824, gold remained an important Aruban industry until around 1916. The ruins resemble a crumbled castle off in the distance on the North East coast of the Island

Made of coral limestone, this natural bridge was over 30 meters long and was 7 meters above sea level. After the kilometers-long, snow-white sandy beaches, the Natural Bridge was the absolute top attraction of One Happy Island and attracted more than 1 million tourists every year. Unfortunately, after millions of years of erosion from strong trade winds and pounding ocean waters, the bridge collapsed on the night of September 2, 2005. A stone's throw from the remains of the Natural Bridge is a smaller, still intact natural bridge; Baby Natural Bridge.

We were happy to see a little bit of everything on the island and John stopped at other places we were interested in also, which was nice. John was very personable and was willing to accommodate us for anything we needed. It was nice not to be on a tight schedule.

Jackie was excellent! We had 4 kids with us as well as a grandmother. Jackie was wonderful at helping find things that everyone was interested in! She was fun and so enjoyable to travel with for our 4 hour tour.

We loved this tour, John was very knowledgeable and took us all around the island. We were able to see all we wanted to and my favorite -the lighthouse as I love lighthouses and we were able to climb the stairs to the top, beautiful view.

John was fantastic throughout and very adaptable as my son has autism and any sand is not feasible. We saw from 1 end of the island to the other! There was no part of the tour that was not 5 star. I would always recommend both this tour and especially with John!

We chose a private tour because one of those mega Royal ships was in town with our smaller ship and we didn't want to be crowded... and what a great choice. Our guide Jacky is a lifelong Aruban and we let her choose the stops. We saw beautiful sights... she made a stop for us at a pharmacy... and she was proud to show us her home... Highly recommend!

We had a great half day of touring the island -- everything from California Lighthouse to San Nicolas. Being able to skip things we didn't want to see, or make a quick stop instead of a lengthier visit, allowed us to see more of what we wanted. Our tour guide, John, was awesome.

The tour was amazing, We missed up on the time as we were on ship time not island time. Our driver David was amazing. There were 13 of us and he made sure we had a great time. We get in a little sightseeing and some beach time it was perfect.

We had a lovely day and are so happy we booked our private island tour! It was our first visit to Aruba as a family (Adults, Grown Children and Signficant others) and we were hooked after our tour and would love to go back.

Coming from a cruise ship, it was so nice to have a tour that was specialized for what we wanted to see and allowed us to take time where we wanted. The tour guide was so friendly and really educated us on life in Aruba while showing us some great highlights. Pick Up and Drop off at the Cruise port were easy and stress free!

Would highly recommend!

This was the best way to see the island. I had the opportunity to see what I wanted and take numerous photos. My tour guide Jackie was the best. Very informative, personable and friendly. I would recommend this 100%.
