After visiting the many highlights and landmarks of Old San Juan, we will venture through the Calle Fortaleza shopping district. Calle Fortaleza is home to shops, restaurants, and souvenirs galore! Guests will have a chance to buy memorabilia to remind them of this amazing day for years to come.
We will end our time in Old San Juan with lunch at an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant. Enjoy locally inspired drinks and dishes while taking in the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of Old San Juan!

I enjoyed this tour very much! Definitely will get your steps in so please be mindful if you do not like a lot of walking because that’s all you do. And it was extremely hot. But they do give you water and there are food carts outside for you to get drinks and snacks. A lot of history to learn and the tour guide was cool.

This was an awesome walking tour! This was my first visit to San Juan and they made it an awesome experience. From providing air-conditioned pickup transportation to/from the hotel so that we didn’t have to pay to Uber to a meetup location, ensuring everyone had bottled water, to providing a knowledgeable and engaging tour guide named Giovanny,. the service was excellent. We were able to see many sites and take multiple pictures. The tour guide gives you time to capture any pictures you’d like to take, and answers questions. He is #ACTIVELY engaged in the experience that you’d like to curate. As far as preparation/what to wear: please remember this is a WALKING tour, so once you arrive at the location in Old San Juan, you will exit the transportation and walk. A lot of the streets in Old San Juan are very narrow with cobblestones, and the weather is very hot. Yet, the sights are beautiful. I took quite a few pictures LOL. The walking portion is about one and one half hours for the tour as a group, and then about another one and a half hours on your own to eat lunch and shop. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops at the place where you’re on on your own, so you’re still within 10 minutes of that spot to meet up with the group for the ride back to your hotel. As far as what to wear, please remember this is a WALKING tour, so dress prepared to walk: tennis shoes or comfortable walking sandals, put on sunscreen, hat/cap, sunglasses, loose/breathable clothing (e.g., shorts, sundress, loose skirt, tshirt) and a crossbody purse/waist pouch/light book bag if you’d like, but definitely you wouldn’t want to take this walk with a large purse. One couple in our group had a selfie stick for pictures which was a really great idea; however, Giovanny will take pictures of you with your phone for everyone in the group. All in all, it was worth the money and time as a great introduction to the history of San Juan as well as for place to come back to later on your own for eating and socializing. My group had a lot of fun, even with me being a solo traveler. I definitely recommend that you take this trip!

This tour is a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend that you do it in order for you to get the real full background of old Saint Juan when you do, you’re going to meet the wonderful and the outstanding host of Michelle 🎊 and Kevin they are very much hilarious very funny and they know about the history of all Saint Juan I so love Puerto Rico and please believe I will be back again. When you visit Puerto Rico, it’s a must that you do this tour.
