Mr Gerry welcomed my family on time and warmed up to all of us. He was pleasant, very knowledgeable, entertaining, humorous and looked after the group like a mother. My family was pampered and honestly we may never have visited the places he took us to or the cuisine or dishes we were offered had we travelledon our own. The tour was well paced and enough time was there to shop and get advise on what to do. I must agree this was not just a food tour but an eye opener into the rich heritage and culture of Singapore. I strongly recommend this to anyone coming to Singapore.

What a great, interesting and fun tour! We tried lots of amazing foods, took public transit and learned about the culture of Singapore. It was a great day!! I highly recommend this tour!!!

Gerry was extremely knowledgeable and forthright in explaining the history both current and past of Singapore. In touring the cultural areas of the city he had quips, quotes and stores of each. The food stops were fabulous. Definitely a 5 star tour

Very glad I took this tour. Gerry is an excellent tour guide and the places we visited were very authentic. The food was tasty and abundant and the historical commentary was interesting. I especially liked that Gerry goes out of his way to support the mom & pop shops instead of the typical tourist destinations. This is a man who cares about his community.
I highly recommend this tour for others looking to experience Singapore culture and food.

Best decision I made booking this tour on my first full day in Singapore. Gerry has designed this tour so well that you not only get to try an amazing variety of food, but you also get a great insight into Singapore’s cultural history and local people. What’s nice about this tour being longer than most is that you don’t feel rushed and actually get time to enjoy the places that you visit. Gerry literally knows everyone! It was really interesting to hear about the life stories of everyone we met on the day, from those passing by in the street to the business owners in the hawker centres. Also experienced catching the MRT for the first time on this tour, which was a bonus. Gerry goes above and beyond to ensure that your visit to Singapore is fun and memorable, and is more than happy to answer your questions before and after your tour while in Singapore. I went back to some of the foods places later in my trip and they were just as good as the first time!

This tour was absolutely the very best thing we did during our 5 days in Singapore. Gerry is such an excellent guide. He provided rich historical background and a delicious food experience. As a bonus, I thoroughly enjoyed Gerry's company. Wonderful!

Gerry was fantastic - accessible, smart, knowledgeable, fun - and offered a well-practiced, engaging itinerary combining culture, history, humor and delicious food with convenient transportation (van, metro, bus & taxi). We covered a lot of ground, literally & figuratively, with well-timed breaks out of the heat & brief rainstorms. Great for couples & solo travelers who like small-group tours in our case, 6). One of the VERY BEST single day tours we’ve ever done.
