You will venture up the mountain until Sierra outlook point is reached. This location offers views of the mountains from all angles. If you’re lucky, you may even see a wild macaw parrot fly past!
Finally, our last stop is at the most famous local restaurant in the village. Here you can enjoy an authentic Mexican lunch or a refreshment (available for purchase).

My Partner + I had an amazing time with our tour guide Angel! I was sceptical and a bit scared at first but it was one of the best experiences we've had in PV so far. You'll go up to this nice ranch in the forest and will also enjoy some really good food & tequila tasting. Highly recommend trying it!

One of our favorite activities in PV. Driving through the old town streets and then up high on the mountain to bath on the river was so beautiful. The Rancho Abuelo was so beautiful and the food was great.

So much fun!! I really felt that this tour company made everyone’s safety a top priority. I definitely recommend it. I wasn’t sure whether to rent my own ATV or ride on back, but I’m so glad I had my own. We had a great group of guides!

…that you will be filthy afterward. Completely. I looked like Charlie Brown’s friend, Pig Pen (are we still allowed to say ‘Pig Pen’?). It was super fun, just be sure to dress accordingly. The ATVs were easy to learn, and it was cool to see parts of PV that they skip on the bus tour. Watch out for stray dogs trying to bite your ankles, just speed up a bit and you’ll be fine. When you get to the jungle, you will be able to taste every kind of tequila imaginable. I don’t drink alcohol but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. I definitely recommend this tour, the guides were great and super helpful.

We loved the experience of the local culture in the city and in the rural areas of Puerto Vallarta. Charlie was an excellent guide that made the experience very personable by his sharing of his life. The local people we met were very welcoming and hospitable.
