This tour is a must do on your visit to La Fortuna! The whole experience was great and filled with lots of information on cocoa and coffee bean production, amazing tastings and a fun tour guide! Hint: The gift shop is excellent too with better prices than downtown!

This is an excellent family experience if you want to learn and engage in how cocoa is grown and made into chocolate and how coffee is made from the bean to you your table. Excellent hands on demonstrations that everyone can participated in. Our tour guide, Jonathan, was excellent and took his time to explain everything about chocolate and coffee making at this small coffee and chocolate farm. It is great for all ages....the tour is about 2-2 1/2 hours....lots of tasting of chocolate and coffees. Our grandkids ages 9-16 had a great time and really enjoyed it....do not pass this up if you are in La Fortuna.

Amazing experience on this tour. Alberto was our guide and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable about coffee and chocolate production, as well as gracious and entertaining. Learned a ton about the production of both. Very well organized- we got to see each step of the process, from plant to roast to final result. Plenty of chances to taste delicious chocolate and coffee. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide Esteban made our tour! He was very knowledgeable and fun and we were so surprised to learn that he had only been working at North Fields for about a month. The tour itself was very interesting and we got to sample different roasts of coffee as well as every step of the chocolate process from the seed to finished product. The tour was organized and efficient and we learned a lot about both the coffee and chocolate making process.
Thank you Esteban and North Fields for a delightful experience!

Our tour with David was one of the top experiences that we had in Costa Rica. David is an extremely knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. We went with our two children, ages 7 and 11 and we were all captivated until the very end. We learned so much and had a meaningful and fun experience every step along the way. Thank you, David!!! You are truly a wonderful guide. 10 out of 10… highly recommend!!!

We were lucky enough to have Rosbi as our guide on this tour. We had two families of four that had a great time. We all learned quite a bit about the varying industries and their importance. Rosbi and the team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
The tour was a fun and engaging experience that delivered on both subjects. Highly recommend this tour!
