The tour delivered what it promised!
We got to see natural coral reefs, full of colourful fish, swimming close to the bottom and even following our tour for a bit! Our tour guide, Hose made special dives to point out particular species at each of the four locations.
We saw a total of 3 turtles on the trip! It fulfilled my dreams of travelling to the Rivera maya.
Hose was a great guide and very encouraging for other travellers who didn’t feel comfortable swimming without his help. His English was a bit broken, but he tried his best.
Alberto, the captain, was a lovable and social man. Super friendly and warm.
The boat felt safe. The snack was fantastic.
I would book again!

They delivered all that they promised and more! Miguel and crew were wonderful and helpful with my wife and I. All the snorkeling stops were special in their own way, we saw pretty much all the things people have posted pics of. The friendly crew prepared the filling snack from scratch, it was excellent! The man taking the photos was very good and they sold them all to us at a very reasonable price. Overall, the entire experience was the best value I have seen in a tour in a long time.

To many people trying to snorkel
In the same place. You need to let everyone spread out. My husband was kicked in the privates at 2 locations and chose not to get off at 3rd location. Should stay the longest at first place lots of marine life. Should make last snorkeling spot the shortest or don’t go at all. Should stay longer at beach area and don’t tell people they don’t need the snorkeling gear at beach area. Also got sunburned bc you couldn’t reapply sunscreen. If they would invest in fins for everyone the snorkeling would be much easier and maybe they would let people spread out. Do not recommend.

We booked the tour with MayBe Tours and had a great experience. We took a 30-minute boat ride to the reef, and our first stop we saw tons of fish, a nurse shark and several beautiful sea turtles. Next stop on the boat was a huge area of starfish and the last stop had lots of stingrays which were swimming all around us.
Overall a great experience and everything we wanted on a snorkeling trip.

Snorkeling was good!
Was disappointed that we didn’t leave the dock until 10:30 am when our trip was supposed to be for 10 am. How fair was it when we had to wait for a family who was 20 min late. We were supposed to arrive 10 min early.
We lost 30 min of snorkeling!

We had an excellent time on this tour. While trying to nail down exactly where we needed to go was the most concerning part before the trip, we found it to be very easy to figure out where we needed to go. The staff was very friendly and put on a great tour. They were very accommodating and welcoming of our son, who is 6. They offered suggestions to make his experience relaxing and more enjoyable. They went out of their way to make sure he was able to participate in the snorkeling the best way possible.
We got to see numerous types of fish. The best part was the up close encounters we got with several sea turtles!! We also saw 2 baby whale sharks.
The last stop is lunch on a shallow sandbar where numerous sting rays swim at your feet. Make sure to keep your mask at this stop if you want to see them under water. They had taken all of the gear so we could relax on the sandbar and have our lunch and beverages. I wish we would of kept our masks so we could see the stingrays under the water.
Other than the stingray "issue" mentioned above, this tour was fantastic!! We would definitely do it again!

It made me so happy, everything was a fun and beautiful experience. I felt like I was swimming in an aquarium. The water was warm, with my underwater camera I was able to take beautiful pictures. You see all kinds of fish, schools, rays, turtles, starfish. If you don't have a diving license, this is the ideal way to get a taste of it for the first time. Beautiful. Our guide was also very witty and kept us together well. He gave a sign every time he saw something worth seeing. The current is almost nothing and the water is warm there, you get a safety belt around your belly, so don't be afraid and definitely take this excursion with you!
