If you book no other tour when in Palm Springs this is THE ONE you have to book. They offer 3 different tours but you must take the Covered wagon tour AND barbecue with entertainment to get the full experience and it is a much better deal

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're going to be in or around Palm Springs, you must definitely participate in this activity. The staff is very friendly, the music is great, and the ride through the palm tree forest with the caravan is truly beautiful. At the end of the ride, we were treated to a fantastic meal. The kids especially loved the dessert and roasted marshmallows. We spent about 4-5 hours of unforgettable, beautiful time. If I were to go again tomorrow, I would go back to Palm Springs.

From arrival to departure this was an amazing experience. The entire team at the ranch were friendly, professional and fun. The BBQ was EXCELLENT as was the music. Our guide on the wagon tour was very desert savvy and made learning fun. I highly recommend this tour!

Great experience for the price! Compared to that of other tours in Palm Springs I think this is one of the better bargains. They really put their best efforts to make the exerpaicne come alive with live entertainment, tour/fun facts, and great food and activities!

This is well worth the money for the tour, entertainment and the food. The staff members were ALL so attentive and friendly that it made our time all the more enjoyable. Fun for all but recommend this especially to foreign visitors for a unique old Western experience!

Bill, the owner, and staff gave us a very friendly greeting upon arrival. This is a family business, and they show they care about each and every guest.
First, we traveled in a covered wagon as the tour guide spoke about our surroundings.. They were very knowledgeable about the desert, land and palms. If you had questions, they answered them. This was a fun learning experience about the desert. I was constantly taking pictures. It was beautiful.
The covered wagon had to stop so the mules could rest. We used this time walking the land with the guides showing inside the palms, different kinds of sand we were walking on and more. It wasn’t a long walk.
Now it was time to start back. The guides were answering questions and telling us more about the desert. When we reached the building, there was a couple playing music and singing until our delicious BBQ was ready. We were taught a fun dance, and also had line dancing. The music really was fun to listen to. I was dancing in my seat. I didn’t want to leave. We toasted marshmallows on the way out.
Bill, I want to thank you and your staff for the great evening. My husband and I enjoyed every minute of the tour. I would do it again.

We took this tour while vacationing in Palm Desert. We had an AMAZING time! All of the employees were friendly and helpful. After the Wagon Tour, we came back to a delicious BBQ dinner, games, dancing and live entertainment. We highly recommend!

What an opportunity to see and walk a bit of the desert in a covered wagon and learn the amazing history with knowledgeable guides. The barn and line dancing, delicious bbq with desert, roasting marshmallows with a backdrop of mountains after dark. Everyone at Covered Wagon Tours were kind and thoughtful, going above and beyond to please the guests. I really don’t know how the owners provide so much at a very low price. We had the most amazing time on this Covered Wagon Tour. It was so much fun exploring the beautiful desert while riding in a Covered Wagon. Then we had the most delicious barbecue dinner and dessert. They also taught us a wonderful group dance and we learned how to line dance as well. The staff went above and beyond to make this a special experience for us. They were so wonderful. This Covered Wagon Tour was the absolute best and we can't wait to go back again!
