Join our guided countryside bike tour to explore the beautiful Dutch countryside of Waterland north of Amsterdam. We offer two options for this tour. A full Dutch experience!
The first option is our E-Bike tour, a longer route covering 37 kilometers (23 miles). This tour is for experienced and fit cyclists and requires a minimum height of 5 feet (150 cm) to ride our comfortable E-Bikes with pedal assistance. We will ride with 18/20 km per hour!
The second tour, suitable for both normal and e-bikes, covers about 23 kilometers (14 miles) through charming villages like Zunderdorp and Ransdorp.
Both tours include stories and photo opportunities along the way and are suitable for confident riders. Our friendly guide will meet you near Central Station and take you on a scenic route along the North Holland Canal, passing windmills and Dutch landscapes.
On the long E-bike tour, we'll also visit a traditional Dutch cheese farm to see wooden shoe and Gouda cheese making.

We had Gus as our tour guide on our first day in Amsterdam and it was fantastic! An amazing way to see the countryside and get out of the city. Information on the tour was great and the cheese & clogs stop was fun. Make sure to bring an extra bag for anything you buy to take back on the bike to the city!

From beginning to end this 4 hour ride through the Amsterdam countryside was magical! Our guide, Gus, was very knowledgeable of the country’s history, was kind, funny and extremely accommodating. The views were magnificent, the cheese and clog stop was amazing and delicious. This was our favorite activity from our week in Amsterdam. I highly recommend!!

Simon was a terrific tour guide! We travelled about 30 miles through the Amsterdam countryside. Thank goodness for E-bikes! Mike’s Bike Rentals is fantastic!! Book this tour for sure!

This was a beautiful tour of the Amsterdam countryside with a native of Amsterdam as our very informative guide. Using the e-bike made the day more enjoyable due to our older age. The trip definitely changed my opinion of Amsterdam since I find the city itself dirty and way too crowded. Their new location is very close to the port for cruise ships and we had sufficient time to get back onboard.

Company and Viator not forgiving on sickness so if you can't make it no rescheduling. 24 hr. Policy. I tried to reschedule for next day hoping to feel better. Nope. Didn't work with me at all. Here for 3 more days think I will use trip advisor.

Awesome experience. Mark was very knowledgeable, entertain and informative about the Dutch history. Would recommend eating a big meal before you go because its a good workout and a long tour.

We had a wonderful time on the Countryside bike tour. the fact that it was a gorgeous day was icing on the cake. I'd never ridden an e-bike and was a little nervous but it was a piece of cake.
Gus was our tour guide and he was excellent; he kept the ride at a nice pace, told interesting stories, was very friendly and informative. The Cheesemaker/Clog maker stop was good - they were very funny and we enjoyed the demonstrations.
I would definitely recommend this tour, and if i'm ever back in Amsterdam, i will be sigining on for another tour. Thanks for a great experience!
