Depart from Seville and enjoy this excursion to one of the most amazing cities in Andalucia!

Cordoba offers so much to the visitor. The city of Cordoba, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir and at the foot of Sierra Morena, was the capital of the Bética province during the Roman Empire and the Caliphate of Cordoba during the Muslim era. The history of Cordoba has left us architectural wonders such as the Mosque-Cathedral, the Roman Bridge and the old Jewish Quarter, among others.

Walk through this Andalousian city and take a chance to enjoy the local cuisine.

After lunch, we will visit the beautiful Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1984. This wonderful architectural monument was originally created for Muslim worship. That represents one of the main jewels of the historical and architectural heritage of Andalusia.

We will come back to Seville after having enjoyed a magnificent day of excursion, with places of extraordinary beauty.

3. Caballerizas Reales de Cordoba
Before going inside the jewish quarter, we'll pass by the royal stables, buil in 1570 by King Philip II, who was a great lover of horses to create a pure thoroughbred Spanish horse.
4. Los Patios de San Basilio
We'll walk arouns San Basilio Quarter, next to jewish quarter to admire the famous Patios or Courtyards of Cordoba, that every year attract thousands of visitors in the famous courtyard competition. We'll visit some of this amazing patios full of flowers and pots hanging on their walls.
5. Jewish Quarter (Juderia)
We'll walk throug the largest old jewish quarter in Spain. You'll stroll with your guide through emblematic narrow streets as "judios" "deanes" or Tiberiades square to learn about the most important characters in the History of Cordoba like Maimonides.
6. Sinagoga de Cordoba
We'll visit the only original jewish sinagoge preserved in Andalusia. Admire the original plasterwork in Mudejar style in the heart of the jewish quarter. (except on Mondays, due to the monument's weekly closure)
7. Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba
Discover the unique Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba (World Heritage Site since 1984), the most significant monument in the whole of the western Moslem World. The complete evolution of the Omeyan style in Spain can be seen in its different sections, as well as the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles of the Christian part.

Cordoba is amazing. The Mezquita is unbelievable. Very nice town to spend a day with cute patio restaurants and shops.

We had the pleasure of having Alberto as our guide for this tour and the tour of Gibraltar the following day! He was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable about the areas on both trips. He has a constant positive attitude and always engaged the whole group. He was an absolute pleasure.

Córdoba is a beautiful town and a must see. Traveled with family, Antonio the tour guide is very impressive. He spoke in English, Spanish and French and managed a group of approx 38 people. Antonio was attentive and would look for us when he lost us. He maximized the time.

Our guide was the absolute best. Antonio was amazing. I have difficulty walking and he always returned to help us stay with the group. His commentary was insightful. He was the perfect tour guide. Antonio made the trip perfect.

Our tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Antonio, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, relaxed, and taken care of. He made sure that my mother-in-law, who had difficulty walking, was able to see the key sites and waited patiently for her to get from place to place. His motto was "tranquillo," meaning that the experience should be without stress and that nobody should be left behind. He had so much to teach us and made it interesting and fun to learn about the history.

We went with Antonio and I want to say that it was the best tour we went on! He brought soo much life and knew so much about all the little parts of Carmon and Cordoba. He was very patient with everyone on the tour and overall ensured we had a great time. He told stories and was also very fun and engaging. Definitely recommend this tour!

I was excited to learn about Cordoba but the guide was not very good. She had very little information beyond, "and you'll see a good view here" and "this building is from Roman times." I was expecting a learning experience, instead I feel like I wasted a day.

Alberto was a great guide - shared just the right amount of information without being over bearing. Really great agenda - perfectly spaced out given the length of journey time. We lunched according to Alberto's recommendation. He picked a great spot by the river with super good food for the price. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our Seville stay. Highly recommended to anyone who likes culture, history and who wants to see special sites.
