I had no issued with the Copenhagen Card at all. I got the Discover version and activated it at the airport after flying in. It worked great on the transport and at every attraction I visited and was able to use it off-line very easily. I didn't count how many on the list I visited and how much money I saved but I definitely came out ahead buying the 5 day card. I have not bought cards for any other city as the reviews told me not to, but I did for Copenhagen and I'm glad I did. Well worth the money.

Definitely recommend the Copenhagen card. We got 72 hours and I think we used every minute!
From arriving we used the metro to our hotel and then visited loads of places, castles, canal tour, museums, botanical gardens and of course Tivoli gardens. We drove on numerous metro, trains and buses.
It helps that so many places are included with the card.
You definitely have plan you trip to make the most of the card. For example several places are close together, need to know most are closed Mondays and there is a late night on Thursdays.
App is easy to use for each attraction and transport.

Easy to use, especially getting around on metro. Plan when you are going to visit which site as not everything is open 7 days

The Copenhagen Card is value for money, including public transport costs and entry into popular attractions. We ended up visiting places we wouldn’t have done due to their inclusion on the card. Would recommend.

I would normally avoid these types of‘attraction’ cards. But this one is fantastic value, especially if you’re planning on visiting multiple attractions. It includes all public transport bus/train/metro, including travel to/from the airport. We saved £100’s, especially given that 2 children go free with one adult card.

The Copenhagen card is great value for money for families if you are committed to sightseeing. Having it meant that we visited far more places than we perhaps would’ve done if we were paying for them upfront. The public transport is absolutely amazing and so easy to use. You simply get on to any bus, train or metro; no scanning at any barriers or anything. It also includes your train or bus to and from the airport. Once activated, the card gives you a QR code/bar code; one to show on public transport (although we were actually never asked to) and one at attractions. You can only access each attraction once so make sure you see them properly. My advice would be to check the opening times of each and their distance from each other so you get round them all more efficiently. For example, the round tower opens late on Wednesdays so we left that one til last. We hammered our cards and saved at least £250 compared to what we’d have paid without them.

Beautiful city, loads to do and this card is great for accessing attractions. Check opening days/hours of anything you really want to see as Tivoli Gardens was shut when we were there as it prepared for Halloween and Christmas. Nyhavn is a must see in the day and at night- hot chocolate everywhere is delicious!

We had contemplated whether or not to purchase a Copenhagen Card in advance prior to our arrival in Copenhagen. I am glad that we decided to as it was a real convenience. Since our visit was only three days in Copenhagen , we only purchased a one day card. It was worth it as the second we arrived from the Copenhagen Airport, we could immediately use it on the train to come into central Copenhagen.

Since the one day pass is good for 24 hours, we utilized it for the Copenhagen Zoo, Stromma Classic Canal Tour from Ved Stranden, and Tivoli Gardens as well as a one way train trip from the airport. It worked out well as our schedule was not rushed and we did not constantly have to pay for each of the attractions as it was pre-paid already-- an app installed on our smartphones. Very handy and convenient for sure!! They also sell the Copenhagen card for 2 or 3 days and also with the Hop-On , Hop- Off Bus- check their websites for updates.
