Enjoy the authentic chef experience cooking class with Rita and Luisa who are two sisters, experts in the culinary traditions of their territory preserving and sharing their knowledge of local traditions, recipes and hospitality, opening the doors of their home to all who wish to experience them. All classes are hands-on and feature local seasonal ingredients, some from Rita’s garden, most of them from the Sorrento Peninsula.
The class starts with a visit to the vegetable garden and collection of products (depending on seasonality). You will be offered a welcome drink and canapes. Every customer personally prepare the dishes with the supervision of our Chef. Your full course meal includes a half a bottle of local red or white wine, mineral water, dessert, coffee and Limoncello.
The Villa is located in the center of Sorrento.

Excellent! Highly recommend this intimate cooking class located in a unique (old world meets modern kitchen) setting taught by two lovely and experienced chefs (Raphaella and Maria). Lesson was fun and informative and the fruits of our labors were delicious! This experience did not disappoint!

We had a fabulous experience learning to cook authentic Italian food at Bella Sorrento. We were greeted with Mimosas and appetizers, even though there was so much wonderful food to eat after our cooking. Everything was all set up for the multiple dishes we cooked so it was fast and easy. Our instructor was very knowledgeable, gave clear instructions and lots of fun. Great for beginners as well as experienced cooks. It was a highlight of our trip, and I definitely recommend it!

My husband and I took this cooking class on our honeymoon. It was the best activity we did in Italy. Highly highly recommend and would come back to Sorrento just for this cooking class alone. Rita and Rafa were so warm and welcoming! Rafa helped you every step of the way and didn’t make you feel stupid when messing up (I did that a lot). We got meat/cheese as a welcome snack, water, wine, limoncello, homemade chips, calzone, meatballs, eggplant, cake, and ravioli. This experience was the highlight of my honeymoon which says a lot because I hate to cook! This is a must book!

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would!! Rita welcomed us into her home, which was amazing and felt so intimate. Then, Rafaela led us in making delicious food. We were STUFFED by the end - so many yummy things to eat. Rafaela was a wonderful teacher, and we’re so excited to try all of the recipes at home.
It was particularly special that the veggies all came from Rita’s garden and any ingredients we didn’t make (the tomato sauce or the limonchello) were homemade by Rita. It really made the experience feel authentic!

I booked this cooking class with my wife during our honeymoon and we had an amazing time. Many of the other cooking classes you may see on TripAdvisor draw you in with views of the ocean, but the cooking is mostly done for you. With the Bella Sorrento Cooking School, you are welcomed into their cute B&B Kitchen where you actually make all of the food from scratch. The chefs are sweet, funny, and extremely friendly. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Sorrento. They also email you detailed recipes of all of the food you make so you can just focus on having fun and enjoying some delicious food.

This was the best experience we have had in both our trips to Italy. Highly recommend this cooking school. We received excellent attention as we made calzones, ravioli, eggplant Parmesan, meatballs and chocolate cake. Chef demonstrated and then gave us plenty of time to do our own with a bit of coaching, tips and suggestions. Having a small class size allowed plenty of time to learn how long to stir, to ask questions, and receive excellent teaching. The food we made was delicious!! Our chef was so positive and knowledgeable about the food/recipes. She helped us understand what made it delicious as it was more than just putting ingredients in a bowl and then in the oven. There were many accommodations with time constraints, making sure we had no allergies or food preferences. The food was fresh and there was a good quantity. We couldn’t eat all that we cooked. They even called a taxi for us when we were done! Thank you so much!!

Our cooking class with Rafaela with just perfect. We made 4 delicious dishes. My wife and I have limited skill in the kitchen however this class was exactly what we needed. Rafaela made us feel comfortable and taught us easy recipes to try at home. Buon appetito!
