Join us in cooking a full traditional Santorini menu & baking a local dessert!! Our local host and chef will guide you in preparing a typical 5 course local lunch using only fresh locally sourced products!!
And prepare and bake one of the most typical local desserts!!
The cooking classes take place in one of the oldest stone cave houses of Megalochori village, which has maintained all of its traditional character and features!!
Once the preparation and the cooking of the menu is completed, you will have the chance to enjoy your lunch at your leisure in our traditional dining room or outside under our magnificent bougainvillea tree!!
Local Santorini Assyrtiko wine is served throughout the preparation of our menu and of course during lunch!!

The class was amazing. Learning all the history of the culture and making Grandma’s recipes was delicious. Hands on and so much fun.

We had a wonderful experience with Eleanor and Alexandra! They were both so friendly, informative, and fun! We really enjoyed learning the history behind and cooking some very old and traditional recipes from Santorini.

This is a MUST! In Santorini! Location was fantastic, clean, bright and colorful. Eleanor and Alexandria were lovely and welcoming. The cave house is so beautiful and decorated beautifully. The food preparation (5 courses) was fun but also educational!! Alexandra taught us about the history of food preparation and get grandmother’s recipes. Wine was served throughout and Eleanor had all our phones and took pictures. We then all sat together in a charming dining room and enjoyed our meal. I would highly recommend this, it was sooo much fun and you will love the food and be stuffed!! Thank you Eleanor & Alexandria.

Alexandra and Eleanor were wonderful! Eleanor gave the overviews and introduction, describing the significance of the historic cave building. Alexandra did an amazing job leading the class through preparing a salad, an appetizer, a main meal, and a desert. She is so passionate about cooking and the culture of Santorini, and her bubbly personality added to the whole experience. She uses recipes handed down through the generations of her family and many of the vegetables and ingredients come from her family garden/farm. Everyone in the class got to participate in doing some of the cooking and preparation, and then we ate family style at the end. If you are looking for a fun, authentic Santorini cooking experience in a historic village, this is the class for you!

We had a great time in this cooking class the hosts were personable and fun to learn from. The meal is very traditional and tastes great, we will definitely be replicating the meal at home. Highly recommend adding this class to your itteneary.

The food was delicious and the hostess and chef teacher were very accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history behind the food and the traditional cooking methods used. We ended up not being able to finish all of our food but we were able to take some back wrapped in foil for later consumption.
