For the summer season and not only, a visit to the Black Sea, respectively Constanta, is the perfect way to spend one or several days.
Constanta is a charming city on the shore of the Black Sea, located at a distance of approximately 220 km from Bucharest. In Constanta you can stroll on the sea front, enjoy a drink in the port, you could sun bathe or visit one of the numerous wonderful places hidden in this city.
The Casino in Constanta is, certainly, the symbol of the city, being forever present in the pictures of the tourists, being over 130 years old. The headstone of the Casino was laid in 1880 and represented at the time the meeting place of the elites, sailor and tourists. The Casino held two game halls, one dance hall and two reading halls. But unfortunately, in 1891, the casino was destroyed by a very heavy storm, and the City Hall decided to build a new one that was inaugurated two years later, in 1893.

Amazing! From the first moment in the morning until the end of the trip I felt super comfortable. I enjoyed in every single corner of the zone, the best local meal in town and I learned a lot about the history of the region and Romania. Thanks a lot

Iolena was lovely. Happy to chat and full of interesting information. We booked on a public holiday during summer so it was incredibly busy but Iolena navigated it beautifully and made sure everything went smoothly.

This was another wonderfully memorable tour hosted by Ionela. The highlight was the artifacts of the Roman settlement in The National Museum of History and Archaeology. Ionela’s knowledge of the history of the important pieces greatly added the significance the Roman period of Romania’s history. I highly recommend this private tour for anyone wishing to experience a memory of their Romanian visit.

Alin greeted us at the Airport in Bucharest for our transfer to the hotel with a big smile and lots of enthusiasm. The fun began almost immediately. We had so such fun and banter together.
Alin is very enthusiastic, empathetic, informative but most of all he became our trusted friend and guide. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a local guide. Be it to the Black Sea or another location around Romania.
He made my trip to the Black Sea so special. Thanks Alin. Until we meet again.

The trip was great, the weather was perfect and we were able to walk around town and spend the afternoon at the beach! Our guide was greatand knowledgeable! Totally recomend!

We had a great time visiting Constanta with Nic. We cannot say enough good things about him, his knowledge and passion for Romanian history and love of his country really made the trip memorable.
The drive from Bucharest to Constanta was a little over 2 hours and the great conversation throughout the drive made it feel like 30 minutes. He highlighted and educated us on points of interest throughout the drive, along with the different towns and uniqueness of southern Romania.
Once in Constanta, Nic taught us about the history of the town, the culture, and the architectural gems within the city. He made sure to point out things that could have easily been missed or ignored and helped us develop the appreciation for the city that it deserves.
