Despite the crowds our guide Chris made this an enjoyable visit. She was pleasant, patient and kept us all engaged by the entertaining way she shared her wealth of knowledge of the art and history of the Vatican.

Our tour was amazing! Patricia P has been leading tours for 20+ years! She articulated details of grounds, buildings, artifacts and history w enthusiasm. She knew how to maneuver traffic jams. She was able to get our group in position to see the views that highlighted specific aspects of frescoes or statues. She was a 100 out of 10! Thank you. Our guide knew to hang back so that we would be able to get into the Sistine Chapel. Her knowledge of all the Vatican areas far exceeded our expectations. She was extremely personable and gave direct attention to all 5 couples that were part of the tour.

Our guide Monica (with Maximum Tours) was great. Our tour group was limited to 10 people, which made it a very personal and informative tour. The museums were beautiful and Monica kept the descriptions and the history of pieces very interesting. The informative explanation of the different parts of the Sistine Chapel we were given before heading into it was very helpful since Vatican rules dictate we have to remain silent while inside (I presume to preserve the art). This way we knew what we were looking at and what to look for when we entered. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Patricia was wonderful and the tour was delightful! We were able to see the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St Peter Basillica. There was beautiful, jaw-dropping art throughout the tour and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had no issue hearing her explanations and instructions because we all received headsets. You definitely want a guided tour because the lines without a tour guide are very long and seem impossible. Again, 10/10 recommend this tour and Patricia was amazing!
