We enjoyed the tour and our guide. She was very pleasant and well informed. We loved learning about the history of the Forum, Palatine Hill and Colosseum. Our favorite part was the view from inside the Colosseum and looking down onto the center arena. I were a little disappointed that we could not the Gladiator Arena Floor, though, as that was a big reason for choosing this tour. According to our guide, Colosseum management had recently changed hands and they were not allowing access to the Arena floor. We didn't find this out until just before entering the Colosseum, so we were a little bit confused and disappointed at the beginning of the Colosseum portion of the tour. But over all we enjoyed our experience with Through Eternity Tours.

Great tour! Donatella was our tour guide and she was amazing! She had so much knowledge and was friendly. Being able to skip the line was great, and walking on the arena floor was awesome.

This was a great tour! Super informative and skipped every line of the general public waiting to get in. Our tour guide John Tinto was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating for our group - which was only 10 people. We saw a bunch of other groups that were 20+ people large that had way less engaging guides. Highly recommend booking directly through Through Eternity rather than Viator or one of the big booking agencies.

John Tinto was a fantastic tour guide. He was both informative and hilarious with modern day references to ground the experience. We were able to skip multiple long lines through our tickets, and the intimate tour size (10 people) allowed for more dialogue and overall ease of the tour. As a plus, his daughter is a photographer and has given him some expert tips! Would definitely book another trip with Through Eternity, especially with John!

This was an absolutely fantastic tour and our guide Thomas Robinson could not have made it more fun! He was kind, funny, and passionate about all of the history of Rome. 3 hours went by in a flash and we wanted it to be longer! Couldn’t recommend this more to learn all about the amazing history and to get some great photos!

We had a wonderful tour! It was so wonderful touring this historic area with someone who was so knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter. One member of our group of four had been injured and was not planning to go on the tour, but the guide encouraged her to go for the beginning of the tour and stop when she felt it was too difficult and alternatives. It was wonderful for her to be able to share at least part of the experience.

We had a fantastic tour of The Forum and the Colosseum. Our guide, John Tinto, could not have been better: knowledgable, personable and professional. His knowledge of history and ancient architecture was impressive, and he seasoned it all with a dash of humor. Highly recommended.

Paolo was very knowledgeable and easy going. I feel I learned so much during this tour and it really brought the Forum and Colosseo to life. It can be hard to make sense of what these ruins were without that guidance. The small group setting made it even better.
