I was afraid that since it was a tour booked online it would not have official and professional guides, but the guides were great on the 2 tours we did. Raffaella showed us the Colosseum and the forums in a magnificent way, being an archaeologist. He transmitted a lot of knowledge to us. Good communicator and interpreter of heritage. Even though we were in line for an hour to get in, she didn't stop talking for a minute.

We made the visit starting with the Forum and the guide, apart from repeating the same thing all the time, took us around the outside of the forum, we did not walk practically at all through the ruins, and then they separated the group into 2, some of them stayed around the Forum for a while More and more of us were already going to the Coliseum... Well, we had to miss part of the explanation of the forum and no one told us what we had to do in the coliseum, a girl took us from one point to another and we had no idea what we should do to get down. to the subway or who we should talk to. Luckily, once inside they told us to go to meeting point number 3 and from there we would begin the tour (we included the sand and underground, which I highly recommend). The wonderful explanation given by Paula, concise but very pleasant, and the underground, amazing, no spoilers :)

We bought the tickets in advance, the entry time was at 09:00 a.m. The bus service is bad, we had to wait 45 minutes until we could take the bus, because of this we arrived after hours and had to buy the ticket again. The tolerance is one hour.

We visited Rome at the end of February and we were wondering whether to hire a tour with guides or not. In the end we decided on the offer of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel combined with the Colosseum, Forums and Palatine. A complete success! In addition to providing us with skip-the-line entry, the guides offered us all their professionalism and friendliness to make our visits enjoyable and interesting. Without them we would not have taken advantage of the three hours that each tour lasts as much. They are very punctual and took care of the group at all times. I will repeat with Roma.com when I return and I recommend it to anyone who travels to this magnificent city full of art and history.

We booked the guided tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine in Spanish, but we met a guide who half-chattered Spanish (she was Italian). The visit to the forum and palatine, which is already dense due to the amount of information, became long and soporific, he used a monotonous tone of voice, without any comment that would make the story attract attention. Perhaps the guide was very knowledgeable (I don't doubt this) but he didn't get us hooked on his explanation at any point. Although things improved somewhat in the Colosseum. We feel cheated, the price we paid was certainly not worth it, years ago I made the same visit with a free audio guide downloaded from the internet, and I found it much more interesting.
