Very Nice guided trip. We were not aware that we needed our passports to get in with ID check, so we had to run back to our hotel (2km) and then back again within 20 minutes AND in the middle of rome during easter - haha. So remember your pictured ID (o: not having ran a day in my life, our feet were pretty tired when starting the tour, so after 2 hours we were ready to head home. ANYWAYS, The guide was very Nice and so was the tour - we'd be devistated had we not made it back in time :)

We missed our tour due to a marathon held in the city of Rome, the largest one in the world. The taxi driver picked us up and then ran into the roadblocks and told us that he couldn’t take us any further than most of the city was blocked off due to the marathon. It was a 30 minute walk for us to get to the tour, so we missed it. We lost our money. Company had to have known that his marathon was going on and did not notify us to be able to prepare for it. Very disappointed.

The guide tried his best however the whole tour was disorganized. It started out late with our group having the the wrong group papers, then we get to Palatine Hill only to wait for half and hour at the entrance to find out our tour ends there not start there!! So off the group goes marching up the street to the coliseum to be able to get the correct time slot. The guide was knowledgeable but alas, Another hiccup- have to wait again because they don’t have the correct paperwork to show we can have access to the coliseum floor!! It was just embarrassing at this point. Some of the group left because the tour was way overtime. Then if you wanted to see Palentine Hill and The Forum we were told to basically run because it was closing. Needless to say most had deserted the tour by this point and sadly we ended up not having the tour that was advertised.
The guide tried his best, but whoever was organizing the tours needs to address some real problems.

We were never provided a tour of the Forum or Palestine Hill. The guide was very frustrated with the organization of the event. The Colosseum was wonderful it took a lot of work by the guide just to allow us on that portion of the tour.

The tour was good! The guide knew lots about the coliseum and was very engaging. We spent most of the time in the coliseum, and finished the tour at the Roman forum. We did not get a tour of the palatine hill, but we had access to Roam around after.

Humi was a great guide. Knowledgeable, entertaining and funny. Clear instructions on the meeting place with people wearing the company shirts. This was very helpful when trying to check in.
