Marco did a fantastic job simplifying 3000 years of history into 3 seasons: Ancient Rome, the era of the Vatican, and unified Italy. He was great at maneuvering our group of 6 through the crowds to the best places to see, and to take photos. Getting to walk onto the Colosseum floor makes this a great tour, and adding the Forums and Palatine Hill is also fun. Highly recommended!

In what we learned was the first day of a new security procedure, our guide Patrizia, lead the charge and minimized our entrance time to both the Colosseum and Ancient Rome. This was a bucket list item and Patrizia enhanced the experience with her knowledge and charm as our guide. We would 100% do this same tour again. Thank you so much!

My husband and I went to Rome on our honeymoon. It was his dream to tour the Colosseum and learn the history. We were so happy with our tour guide Francesco! He was so knowledgable and patient. He answered all of our questions. He made the tour fun by making us feel like we were back in that time period as guests attending a show. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in getting a tour of the Colosseum.

Lucy was a book of knowledge, very friendly and excellent guide for the family of 4 adult sisters and 78 year old father to visit the colosseum and the ruins. So much much information, it was a good pace for us all including dad and she was very lovely

This tour was my first experience with Liv Tours on my Italian adventure and I couldn’t have picked a better experience. Our tour was small with only 3 of us and our guide Elisabetta, who navigated us through the history of the Colosseum and Ancient Rome with passion and knowledge which never felt like it was coming from a script. I loved the attention to detail, the connections Elisabetta made between the ancient cities and modern life and I came away understanding the feeling a good tour could provide.
