I went with my 18 year old daughter to celebrate my birthday and we had a blast! This was such a unique experience. Part dance club, part Cirque du Soleil style show, along with impersonators and an overall fun time. I got the VIP package and I'm glad I did so we didn't have to stand on the dance floor all night. I highly recommend this experience!

Most surreal and overwhelming club experience ever. Be ready to dance and scream. Continuous 4 hours of entertainment, performances and dancing. Drinks are good, even snacks served. Pay a little extra for the table, a better experience!

So paid 100 dollars a ticket to go experience coco bongo’s. Basically got one drink then had to upgraded as it was havock which cost 600 dollars and got a table right by the stage with a non descript cheap bottle of vodka. Could not see anthing as had to look up. To get a drink after you had to keep tipping or you were ignored otherwise and only had the option of cheap vodka or tequila. Its not what it says it is at all and is actually a tourist trap. If you see a rep on the beach or hotel tell them to do one. For the same price or less you can have a much better night elsewhere.

Though the show was very good; the performers are quite talented, the segments are separated by 15-30 min of club style music. We found it a long wait between the performances. But if you enjoy loud dance music and dancing, this probably won’t be an issue for you.

WOW !!! Unforgettable, amazing party time. A well planned, interactive audience experience. Quality entertainers, and service staff, security, everyone was kind, helpful, and very attentive.
(we are in our 60's, and totally enjoyed every minute of this party for the entire time-hope to return again)

My experience at the Coco Bongo show was marred by the behavior of the Gold VIP area manager. Despite showing him my Viator order, he insisted it was a mistake and tried to scam me into paying an additional US$1,000 to be seated in the correct area. As a result, my wife, my daughter and I were placed in the worts and lowest area, feeling pressured, until the Coco Bongo administration stepped in near the end of the show apologizing about the “mistake” to relocate us to the right section. Unfortunately, this meant we missed almost all the show.

The event is a money pit! We booked at the Hotel Occidental XCARET by sales rep Francesco. He promised the moon and sky. There were 7 of us, promised shirts for all key chains. Promise us that he would take us there and back. I sent him the sizes on the day off the event. Francesco was nowhere to be find. I called him and he said his associate would go with us. I asked for the guys name, he said he would get back to me with that information. Never heard back. Got there and we bought table service, two bottles. But we kept on getting approached and pressure to buy shots! An expensive night out. At the Occidental XCARET. We ran into Francesco he continued to give us the round around, that he would bring the shirts and meet us at the beach. He never came, we saw him later he said he would bring the shirts at the lobby the next day. Never showed up. Just be wise, don’t fall for Francesco lies!

I read a lot of reviews, all very different, between great and overrated! For my part, there were 3 of us (50, 23 and 26 years old) and we all loved it. There is a great atmosphere, the show is really great, both in terms of the costumes, the aerial and on-stage choreography, and the varied and catchy music! We didn't see the time passing. We had dinner so we didn't eat the snacks but they were offered to us on numerous occasions. And we serve you your drinks galore, the glass is not empty it is already full 😜. We chose the VIP front row formula, which allows you to see clearly and be seated because it lasts from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.! In short, we highly recommend this show. !
