Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

It was an amazing experience at the dolphin watch. Both the boat driver and the person explained it well. They did stop at an island and gave us ample

We saw lots of dolphins. They put on a show for us. It was very cool. Tour operators know where to find the dolphins.

Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, they went out of their way to help us by calling and assisting us with parking information. The boat ride was very nice and we saw families of dolphins that came very close to the boat because the captain was very respectful of these creatures. Great Time!

Well worth the cost of this excursion. While we didn’t see a lot of dolphins, we saw a few playing near our boat. The trip to the little island for shell gathering was a fun addition too. It is also a great way to cool off on a hot day! Our captain & guide were entertaining & funny. I definitely would recommend this excursion!

We had a terrific time! Captain Alycia and First Mate Jessica were top notch - personable and knowledgeable. The young man at the sales booth was polite and compelling w/o being overbearing. I wound highly recommend the experience.
