Paddle out on a guided tour over majestic coral heads in search of Maui's vast array of sea life. The bottom of the clear kayak magnifies the reef and all of the creatures below you. Pontoon attachments make the kayaks almost impossible to tip and impossible to sink. All tours are small and intimate with only 10 guests per guide. Fun for the whole family. Beginners welcome.
From December to April you can expect to see the Humpback Whales that migrate here for breeding.
As a premium tour company you can expect the best quality equipment. Our kayaks were recently manufactured. Life vests are sized to the guest. Rash guards, sunscreen and dry bags are provided at no extra cost. Our guides are CPR trained, passionate about conservation and have a deep understanding of the flora and fauna you will encounter while on your tour.
We are the only kayaking for charity company on Maui. Every seat booked helps support UHMC!

Endlessly amazing views and fun! The entire team at Gabriel’s Ohana were kind and knowledgeable about the island - they had so many tips about things to do and see during our trip! They catered the entire experience to see and talk about what the group was interested in.
The kayaking experience was fun and informative! The snorkeling experience is a MUST because this is easily some of the coolest reef and most wildlife we saw on any of the Hawaiian island tours we’ve attended (ACRES of beautiful reef and 7 green sea turtles in just a few hours?!). Gabriel’s Ohana toured us around the reef and gave us time to explore the best areas in the Olowalu Beach’s beautiful ocean! I will absolutely book this tour again when we come back to Maui 🌺

Jason was the absolute best! If I’m ever back in Maui I would book this again. I’ve never been snorkeling before and wanted to give it a try but was super nervous. Jason was so patient and encouraging. I don’t think we could have had a better guide. We even got to snorkel near a turtle. The area is very safe feeling if it’s your first time. Highly recommend. Thank you Jason!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could!!!! Our kayak trip was absolutely exceptional! Jason and Nick were awesome from start to finish! We had a slightly windy day, but that didn't take away from the stunning beauty and overall amazing experience. Jason's enthusiasm was boundless and his knowledge was impressive. We will undoubtedly book this tour every time we come to Maui. If you want an unforgettable experience, we highly recommend this one! Jason and Gabriel were absolutely incredible. In our 12 day trip to Maui (our first), this was absolutely the highlight of our trip. The weather was a bit overcast, so it was a little hard to see the reef under our boats, but Jason gave us all snorkel gear and took us out on the reef after talking through the history and sharing so much information about what we might be seeing under the water. My 6 year old had never snorkeled in the ocean before (and had only practiced in the pool a few times before) and Jason was so patient and reassuring - he was in the water and off in no time! We loved that Jason was able to find and bring to the surface a few things for us to look at/touch/hold - it really brought the experience to life and was an incredible learning opportunity. It was almost like his kayaks were a Ms. Frizzle school bus, and Jason was our teacher. Jason's wife followed up with us that evening to make sure we had a great time, and overall, the entire family was incredible. We will absolutely be coming back to see Jason and his family again!

Gabriel Ohana are awesome and you can tell how much pride they have for the island and giving the best history lesson of kayaking and stories about the marine life. This is just not a kayaking adventure but a true Maui adventure. Mahalo for the best birthday ever.

We enjoyed our kayak tour. It was beautiful! Jason and Gabriel were friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed Jason’s narrative as we kayaked. We had hoped to see a lot of sea life, but the clear kayak was difficult to see through. We did see some amazing reefs and one sea turtle. Sightings are always hit or miss with tours like this. We especially enjoyed the pineapple at the end and the Li Hing powder to sprinkle on it! We ended up buying some before we left the island.
My husband did the snorkeling at the end, he enjoyed that the most. He was able to see a lot of beautiful sea life.

Jason talked non stop but his stories were fun, informative and fun to listen to. We got to see turtles and some coral but the water that day was murky so we didn’t get to see as much as we would have liked. They provided everything that was needed and more, we would do it again. Sending love and light to Jason and Gabriel they are great! Aloha!

we were encouraged to take our time during the kayak tour and snorkeling session - I did not feel like i was on the clock to end our session on time. as promised, we had upclose interactions with several turtles (within an arms length) and spotted multiple whales from afar. Lots of voral and fish to see at this site as well. our tour included lots of interseting history and some dad jokes. the clear bottom kayak experience was cool (Tip: easier to see through clear bottom if the surface is wet/covered with water.)
