I waited at stop number 1 for an hour and the bus never came. I reached out to the tour operator to ask if it was operating that day and never got a response.

I generally like City Sightseeing and used their buses many times across Europe. Usually, these tours make a good option to learn about city's special places and history. NOT IN SEVILLE!

To start with, they advertise 2 walking tours a day, but forget to mention that they almost coincide in time, so you cannot make more than one. And that one will be in lunch time, so you will have to craft your timetable thoroughly. Same about free drinks and other promotions – you may need to work hard to find how to get them, so better just forget.

Then, the bus goes through rather ordinary streets, and I am not sure that the route is representative of Seville. Yes, "not ordinary" streets are hardly passable for a bus, but nevertheless, be prepared not to see much,

Thirdly, they managed not to tell us anything about the place's history! Of Seville!!! This is truly pathetic. Most of time on the bus, you are fed with songs. I do not speak Spanish and cannot say what those songs were about, but 50% of all time it was "Yai-yai-yai" again and again, which sticks in your head and may give nightmares to some. You may say, take the headphones off, but you do not do that in hope to hear something interesting about the city .... and barely anything is coming.

We did 2 rounds with the bus thinking that audio guidance on 1st bus was somehow impaired. Surprisingly, 2nd tour gave even fewer details; tobacco factory, sea academy, the monument to sailor seeing America and some others points were not mentioned on 2nd tour at all.

So, having paid for 48 hours (as I usually do with City Sightseeing), we had no desire to use the bus on 2nd day. Shall I say, I paid 2x35 Euros and it was 2x35 too many.

Having said all that, I must add that the staff was very nice, very friendly and all of them made a terrific job (I admire driver's skills :)), but that was all failed by poor tour design and appalling content of audio guidance. If City Sightseeing wants to improve on that, they certainly can. And, I will keep on using this company in future, JUST NOT IN SEVILLE!

Very nice tour, to learn the history of Seville on the walking tour was very interesting. loved the view from top of the bus.
It was a bit cold in the morning but soon warmed up by afternoon.

City Bus Tour offered a very good service with two walking tours included. Tour guide Barry from Gambia was really helpful and always smiling; a wonderful representative for his company and enthusiastic about his city.

Very interesting tour, despite the wet weather. Great overview of the city, going places that we wouldn’t have walked to. Unfortunately one of our headset consoles didn’t work.

A nice route through the city taking in all the sights so that makes it easier to navigate when you are on foot.
TWO THINGS: The stops are not easy to find. I would advise that even if you are not planning on getting the tour that day that you watch for them so you can ascertain where they pick up passengers. They stop on the other side of the road, opposite the two pillars of Hercules (at the exit from the square). They also stop opposite the Zara shop on the square near the main shopping area - the Plaza Durque stop. We get on the bus around 1pm with the 24 ticket so the following morning you can get a lift to any places far from your hotel/apartment or any place you have decided as piqued your interest and therefore essentially use it as a taxi until the ticket runs out at 1pm.
The narration is a little off putting - a bit odd - but you get used to it. There is also a lot of music and not a huge amount of direction as where to look when they say "so and so lived here" so take your guide book and cram on the bus route so you know what you are looking at. I think they said "on your right" just the once.
Would recommend though as it is a great view when the sun is shining and you do see more than you could on foot in a few days (we were there for four and used it from 1pm Monday to 1pm Tuesday)

We sat at a stop for 45 minutes waiting to go. Driver was on sidewalk walk smoking and chatting with another driver.

Overall, the city sightseeing bus Seville was a good experience. It takes you past most of the major sites, and offers two walking tours. My only complaint is that it runs for such a limited period of time in the winter, and the walking tours which last about 3 hours are in the middle of the day. Hard to do both and get back to your starting point before the buses stop running.

Disappointing. We have used these tours around the world and this was the worst. There are 14 stops but only two are clearly marked with bus tour staff and a temporary sign. The rest are completely unmarked, some use other bus stops but many don’t. The stops are just at the side of the road. This makes it very hard to find where to get on when initially joining the tour or if you want to get off at one stop then walk to another. There are also long gaps between buses.

Really disappointing bus tour. Not much information going round the tour, random comments in between music being pumped through the headsets. No notice of whether you are at an actual stop or stopped in traffic so can easily miss stops. One of the most disappointing city tours and not cheap. Better to wander the city yourself, it is very walkable and nicer to see at your own pace.
