After getting on board this original experience we will travel to the first stop in the prominent Jazz neighborhood of Harlem.
The experience continues heading out of Manhattan into the Bronx to admire the grandeur of Yankee Stadium. The exploration of the Bronx continues to the “Joker Steps “and artistic murals- learning more about this famous street art and the history of The Bronx.
Our exploration continues in Queens with a lively stroll at the fascinating Flushing Meadows Corona Park. U.S. Open National Tennis Center, Citi Field NY Mets baseball stadium, and Uni-sphere.
Brooklyn is where we explore the Williamsburg neighborhood, the largest concentration of Hasidic Jews. The show continues down at Brooklyn’s waterfront, with a view of the world-famous panorama of Manhattan’s skyline and a pace at Domino park. This park’s architecture & landscape is a gorgeous way to admire the New York city bay and landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty & One world trade center.

Fantastic tour - really different experience from many that you might think of trying while in New York. It was great to see another side of the city away from Manhattan where real New Yorkers live and work. Our tour guide Sebastian was excellent - really informative and entertaining. We saw and learnt so much about the boroughs it was hard to recall it all! Would highly recommend if you're interested in seeing more than just the usual tourist spots.

I’m glad I did this tour as I am now fully aware that these areas that we went to are NOT for tourists. Nothing wrong with the places that we visited, but they are for residents, not bus loads of people.
We visited local coffee shop, that was a regular ‘corner shop’ that sold coffee. The shop was very small, but 3 coach loads of tourists were shipped in whilst we were there. This is not something for tourists! We were shown a wall art. The item that I cannot get over was that we were taken through an area where Jewish people live. This community was spoken about in great detail by the tour guide. We were not ‘shown’ any other community - I felt uncomfortable at the length of time this ‘talk’ went on for.

Highly recommend the contrasts tour which enables the traveler to see the different boroughs of New York. Mille presented the tour in a fun and informative way and was an excellent guide. If you are thinking of booking this tour do not hesitate to do so!
