We loved the Circle Line tour of Manhattan. I went with my daughter in April and the boat was not very full. We arrived about 30 min before departure and had our pick of seats. We sat inside and paid for the basic seats( not premium) We did the 90 min tour which was plenty... and had the most amazing views of the city, and New Jersey. Great views of The Statue of Liberty too. Our guide was really informative too.

Well guided tour. Very nice experience and views. However, if you're considering getting premier seats, but expecting good weather and would like to stay outside, then note before spending extra money that the premier seats are only available inside and only on one side of the boat (the side facing Manhattan), but you're still free to take any seat on the boat. This should be clearly indicated during booking.

Loved the 2.5 hrs cruise circling all of Manhattan Island. Our tour guide, Andy was superb, a true pro doing it for 9 yrs. He took 3 short breaks but otherwise provided clear, interesting history of highlights along route. Uses wireless mic with speakers everywhere on boat. Recommend upgrading to premium seats (all padded & on the 2nd deck). Port or left side is the best side to see most sights but boat does swing by Statue of Liberty on both sides. Can easily roam around outside fir better pics. Restrooms are via stairs going down from middle of lower deck. Beware women's stacks up the last 20 minutes of tour. Snacks & drinks for sell on lower deck.

It's worth taking it off. We took 5 activities. Top of the Rock. The Edge. Night cruise. Empite.One Word Observatory.
Without a doubt the Cruise is worth it. Approximately 2 hours. You have to arrive earlier. In May with 30 minutes to spare. You can go outside. If you don't have a seat at the top (ideally), at the bottom inside, position yourself in front of the room as they then open the doors to be able to go outside. You pass very close to the Statue of Liberty. To the idea of sunset and the return at night.

We booked this cruise in advance to avoid a possible queue. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain and very cold. So we didn't take advantage of this activity as much as in good weather. The boat passes next to the Statue of Liberty, under the numerous bridges, the explanations can be listened to in several languages. This is a must-do tour if you are in NY!
