Stop At: Chichen Itza Mexico
Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in Cancún or the Riviera Maya, and then journey to one of the most important monuments on the Yucatán Peninsula.
Upon arrival at Chichén Itzá, look at the step pyramid of Kukulcan (El Castillo), known for the play of light from the equinox that casts shadows on each step to create an image of a serpent descending.
Go to the ancient cenote of Saamal and experience one of the sinkholes that form part of a network of underground rivers sacred to the Maya people. Enjoy a delicious buffet meal and take a stroll around the colonial city of Valladolid to complete your experience.

Cenote Saamal is a beautiful cenote that is open with a manmade waterfall going into it. You will need to descend down stone steps. There are multiple viewing platforms to take photos from.

One of the most beautiful colonial cities of Yucatan and the first to be visited from the important tourist market of Quintana Roo is undoubtedly Valladolid, for the majesty of its temples and the ancestry of its old neighborhoods. After Mérida is the second city in importance and the oldest in Yucatan. Its streets and buildings preserve its glorious past and witnessed various indigenous uprisings, such as the so-called "War of Castes". Today it is a placid city where you can admire beautiful old houses, has great commercial dynamism and is a key point in the development of the state for its strategic location.

I was a first time SOLO traveler and this excursion was AMAZING!!!!! If you’re thinking about booking this excursion… DO IT! My tour guide was Cesar and someone else (Sorry I forgot his name), but they were very knowledgeable about the history of Chichen Itza and truly cared about the deliverance of their tour! I felt 100% safe and comfortable on this trip. I recommend this excursion to anyone who’s interested in learning about history, having fun, and tasting great tequila!!!

They forgot to pick us up. Then did not even try to compensate for time wasted. I was generous enough to try and rebook for the upcoming year but they didn’t care lack of customer service on their behalf. Most reviews were great and unfortunately this happened to my other and I and nothing was done to try to make amends for a day wasted.

If you’re debating which tour to book definitely go with this one! Everything was on schedule and seamless including hotel transportation. Ruth was an amazing tour guide and we learned so much about Mayan history. It was a long day but so worth it for the experience. Go with the all inclusive option as you end up having to pay for entry to chichen itza and a locker/life jacket at the cenote anyways. I would no doubt do this tour again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a worry free, great day!

If you hesitate to book, just do it. You will not regret it.
We had a blast. The trip was very well planned. Big cred to our guide that made the experience a whole lot better. He was funny, made jokes, spread positive energy and good vibes. He explained the Mayan history very well, even for someone that doesnt have knowledge in that kind of area. I highly recommend to bring some kind of protection from sun like sun hats or umbrellas. If you don’t have it with you there is a possibility to buy once arrival but be prepared to pay overprice. My personal favorite part was for sure swimming in the Cenote!!

My family and I had such a wonderful time with Cesar. He was very knowledgeable about chicken itza and was very friendly overall. My daughter hurt her ankle and he was very attentive and brought her a bag with ice. I would definitely recommend him to any one who wants to make their best out of their trip.

Ceasar was an amazingly knowledgeable guide, he made this trip as exciting as we hoped it would be.
Our main objective was to see the Mayan ruins at Chichen itza and learn the history. This requires a great guide who is passionate and truly versed in the site Ceasar was that guide.
I read many reviews in advance if booking and am pleased with choosing SAT Mexico.
As my husband and I are not fluent in Spanish, we appreciated that the tour was in English and Spanish.
We also chose this tour so to visit a cenote and Valladolid, both beautiful.
Ceasar was also very considerate in drawing attention to local vendors so to keep money in the communities we as travelers were visiting.
Thank you to Ceasar and Juan for being part of this special memory.

Took this tour with my wife and four kids and we had a wonderful time. Cesar was an excellent guide who has such real passion and excitement for his job that it made the whole day better. And our tour of the cenote was a highlight of the whole trip.
