The overall experience was good. But the 2x bus transfers is not something we enjoyed. Also the timing of the temple visit was not good. It was so hot up to 113 degrees Fahrenheit. Should have been done first in am when the weather was still conducive to walking under the sun. All others was fine.

Great tour overall. There seem to be some tourist traps in the mix. But you can sort of ignore it. The history and explanation of Chichen Itza was great. The weather was very hot but we could still enjoy the view and the history. The visit to Valladolid was short but enjoyable.

Viatour messed up our booking and the actual tour company were fantastic in helping resolve the issue. The tour company worked with us to move our booking so we wouldn't have to pay again and were very patient in giving us instructions on how to find the pick up location as we weren't staying in the hotel zone.
The trip its self was fantastic. (because of the booking mishap we ended up going after going to Coco Bongo. Don't do this, getting in at 5am and getting to a meeting point for 6am is tough.)
Bring Pesos.
Our tour guides on the bus spoke primarily Spanish and took the time to translate everything for us, kept checking in with us during the day.
Our tour guide at Chichen Itza was brilliant (its hot, buy a drink or ice cream there), spoke fabulous English and the tour time flew by, the village was lovely and there were plenty of vegetarian and a few vegan) offerings. The cenote was lovely and refreshing.
Fully recommend the trip.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Mexico and we had to do this tour. Everyone was so professional and very knowledgeable. The history, the culture…I can’t wait to come back.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! I arranged my entire trip here around this excursion. To see Chichen Itza for the Spring Equinox. I called and spoke with them about details of the itinerary and was reassured. They never showed up to pick us up as scheduled and then gave no explanation after continuing to ask me questions for over an hour. No explanation, no apology and they hung up the phone when I continued to call. Absolutely ruined my entire reason for being in Cancun. This company does not see their customers as guest but just another number and just a dollar sign.

It is said a maximum of 15 people in thr tour group, that's why we choose this tour, but actually there are 56 people in a big bus. We got up very early 6am to catch the bus, but the bus need to go to other hotels to pickup everyone, till 9am we left Cancun.
Then the bus took us to a shopping place, waste another 1 and half hour to introduce us some useless gifts and food, then we had lunch there.
When we arrived Chichen Itza, it was afternoon around 1pm, hottest time in a day, temperture was more than 39 degree, no one has the mood to tour the greatest place in Cancun area. It only gave us 2 hours tour at Chichen Itza at hottest time, then took us to Canoet for only 30 minutes, made the whole tour very rush in the afternoon
half day was wasted on picking up everyone, road, and shopping
