We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

Fun tour! Definitely go with an empty stomach and an extra bottle of water( but a free drink did come with our tour!)
It was only my best friend and I on the tour, Max was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, his jokes were funny, and he had a good relationship with all the donut places. Great person to be around. 10/10

Out of the box food tour with delicious donuts! Our guide Jackosn was knowledgeable, enthousiastic and was really into the donut underground scene. I highly recommend this tour and you will enjoy yummy donuts!

Great way to see the city! The donuts were fantastic and so was the fact that you get the walk them off while learning about different parts of the city. Jackson Jackson definitely does a better job than Steve (he told me to say that).

Chilly winds didn't dampen our spirits ..... dress appropriately for a bit of chill in April and you'll be fine good walking shoes and an appetite... our guide Max was great!!!

I went on the donut tour led by Max for my husband's birthday. Our family, including our baby in a stroller, were the only ones on the tour. It was a very fun experience getting to learn more about the city and the history of the donut boom that happened around 2013. Max was super informative and catered to our needs! Having lived in the city for several years, I learned quite a bit while getting to indulge in a sweet treat! Highly recommend for groups or other families give this tour a try!

Our guide was very passionate about donuts which was great. Also the walk and a little tidbits of info he shared about the city was also enjoyable. All the donuts were delicious!

The tour was great! My wife and I have lived in Chicago all of our lives, but rarely get to be tourists. I highly recommend this tour. Max was a fantastic guide. Super engaging—very knowledgeable about Chicago food culture.

Our tour guide Max was great! It was nice to learn about the history of the doughnut shops we visited as well as a little bit of Chicago history. Also, the doughnuts were delicious!

Took the tour for my birthday and could not have been happier! We eat amazing donuts, learned fun history and walked around this gorgeous city. What more could you ask for? Max our guide was exceptional during our visit. Highly recommend!
