When you arrive at the Chicago Lincoln Park indoor skydiving location, get started by putting on your provided gear and going through a specialized training session from a flight instructor.
Learn how to safely float in a 1,400-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air, commonly used by professional skydivers. Experience the thrill of skydiving without having to hurl yourself from an airplane, and no experience is necessary.
Once inside the enclosed space of the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel your adrenaline pumping as you 'free fall' at wind speeds reaching 180 mph (290 kph). The stable wind flow keeps you from falling off the column of air, and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you. The first-time flyer experience takes about 75min. Each session includes up to 12 people, but fly one-on-one with your instructor in the wind tunnel twice for 60 seconds.

Shout out to the GM, Joe, and Bryan! Very professional, personable, and accommodating. My husband, 8 year old daughter, and 17 year old son flew on Christmas day. My daughter wanted Santa to make her fly. She couldn't believe it! This was a perfect gift for the whole family!

We took our 16 year-old grandson for this experience. The entire staff was amazing - safety was their priority yet everyone doing it had fun. Bryan and Jocelynn were his instructors and were really fantastic.

Being overcharged 20% by Viator over the normal skydiving charges the facility charges. I wish more consumers knew how you overcharged people.

This was a fun experience. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we bought some additional flights while there to use at a different time. The staff was super friendly and clearly excited with their jobs making us feel very welcome. It is a definitely a different experience from jumping out of a plane not only because you do not have the extreme height sensation, but you actually experience a much longer "free-fall" allowing you to do more tricks and than you would jumping out of a plane.

Joe at the front desk is highly professional, knowledgeable and joyful. He’s perfect for his job! It was the first time for everyone in our group. Our instructor, Tommy, was thorough, patient and a calming influence. David controlled the air flow and offered tips and directions for a more comfortable flight. Definitely book the high flight!!! Awesome! JUST DO IT! The wind made it a bit cold but it went well with my helado from LPC. Took CTA from ORD which seemed very safe. JUST DO IT!
