Never scripted, always personalised, we simply love to share the best about Champagne and have you make unforgettable memories there. Come alone, couples, groups of friends, and families. There will be some history, some culture, some vineyards to explore, and a lot to learn about the processes. The highlight is of course tasting the various champagnes after learning about them. It all makes sense when you are there! You will never look at champagne in the same way after this tour. Meet some producers, and if you're there at harvest you'll experience the amazing juice coming off a press!

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1.
Departure from Relais Odeon on the corner of Boulevard Saint Germain and rue de l'Ancienne Comédie at 132 Bd Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris to Reims. We will make a stop on the way for coffee croissants etc.
2. Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims
A recently restored Cathedral where most kings since Clovis were crowned is a true moment to discover. All stained glass was replaced with classic works up until two notable artists modernised the stories to be told. Marc Chagall miraculously kept his style and Imi Knoebel will wow you with impressive cubic colour. I will tell you some details so that when you arrive you'll do a fairly quick tour and know whet to look for.
3. Chigny les Roses
Depending on the large producer tour availability, you may have a cellar tour and tasting at Pommery, Veuve Clicquot, Mumm, or Martel. Or, further into the villages at Canard Duchene. We'll explore the vineyards along the way. At least a photo stop or two are perfect! We'll continue our drive through villages on our way to Hautvillers. Tour itinerary will be changed according to availability.
4. Abbaye Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers
Where the idea of Champagne was born. Still to this day the methods written by Dom Pierre Perignon hold true. The church has a very important part in history. This will be a guided tour short enough but important in the understanding of Champagne and its history. We'll drive through the picturesque village and go to the picnic area to make pictures or have a picnic and or drink some champagne.
5.
Visit a small producer in a very up front intimate tour. Often this is the highlight of the day! You'll learn a lot, see a lot, and taste a lot. You can purchase champagne to take back or cold to have with you for lunch.
6. Avenue de Champagne
We'll take a drive up the richest avenue in the world. You'll have your lunch options here with some time to on your own. I'll point out the best places, which we will have done on the way to Reims.
7. Champagne Mercier
In the afternoon, depending on scheduling possibilities, a mid to big producer visit will complete your day. It could be Mercier, Boizel, Moet & Chandon (often full) Charles Mignon, or Nicolas Feuillatte in Chouilly. If none are available there are lots of smaller ones to visit with great champagnes to taste.
8. Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris
Return trip to Paris with a restroom stop before entering Ile de France. Traffic is typically good until around EuroDisney, after it can and usually is very dense. You can be dropped off at or before Notre Dame Cathedral on our way back via Rive Droite from Pont d'Austerlitz.

He is the tour guide and owner so no matter what day you book you're going to get an amazing experience. He is also a photographer so will take pictures for you throughout the trip. Highly highly recommend!!

The tour was amazing! We went on a cellar tour and 3 tastings. Our lunch was yummy and seeing Notre Dame was such a big plus! Our tour guide, Neil, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating.

This was without a doubt one of the best tours that I have ever been on. My wife and I started our honeymoon out with this tour on our first full day in France. Every aspect of the tour was extremely well thought out and our guide was a wealth of knowledge. We visited a cathedral and several small villages along with two champagne houses as part of the tour; our guide also recommended a fantastic restaurant where we were able to have a very delicious and romantic lunch. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, regardless of your knowledge of champagne. The scenery is beautiful, the guide is amazing, and the champagne was lovely.

Relaxing pace with great views. Guide was very knowledgeable. Guided tours were excellent. Went to a large producer group tour and a small one for a personal one. A lovely day to spend outside of Paris without the hassle to travel to Reims to start the tour.

Neil was so accommodating and communicative. I was going solo and he helped me find a day with others (who were awesome). He provided helpful info on the way that gave me a greater appreciation for the tours. Seeing a large and small house was a great perspective. Our lunch was fabulous as well! I highly recommend this tour.

Neil is a great advocate for Champagne. The tour is fantastic and I would recommend it whether you are a Champagne aficionado like my wife, or an amateur like me don’t know the difference between Moet and Prosecco.

Cannot recommend Neil and this tour more. We toured on a girl’s trip with 3 generations of mom, daughter and granddaughter (who is 5 years old) and he accommodated every step of the way. Our daughter even had a blast especially when she was served real nonalcoholic grape juice. The churches, champagne, food, and knowledge are all top notch. If you want to see Champagne and get to know the history I recommend this tour.
