Carlos was our tour operator and he was nothing less than fabulous! Carlos was very knowledgeable on all things wine and champagne related and he made the experience that more memorable. One could tell that Carlos was very passionate about what he does and he had a wonderful relationship with all the people we meet at the different champagne houses we visited. I highly recommend Carlos as a tour operator and I hope to get him again when I book another wine tour!

Damien was a great host and guide. It was great seeing a large champagne house (Mumm) compared to two smaller family-owned houses. And lunch was delicious. Communication about pick up was thorough. Thank you!

My Winedays did a fantastic job with our small group visit to the Champagne visit. There were 5 in our group, plus two other young ladies that joined the tour for a total of 7. This small group setting is perfect for everything from the ride with a real croissant (real butter, 4 ingredients - IYKYK), the fantastic lunch and even the visit to the different Champagne houses in Reims. We were picked up at our hotel, and dropped off there since all 7 of us were staying in the same area.
Simone (Cee Mo Nay) was our driver and guide, and we absolutely adored him. He was knowledgeable, funny, and really connected with our group. We learned so much about champagne making and then had a chance to visit the Nicolas Feuillatte, Julien Chopin and Charles Mignon champagnes houses. The lunch at Julien Chopin was simple and FANTASTIC. The use of the Ratafia in the sauce made it fragrant and more delicious than expected. We loved the champagnes and the Ratafia so we had to have it shipped. I will note that shipping is a bit expensive. It was $225 to ship 12 bottles to the US. The balance is they remove the VAT so you have a bit of a balance but still expensive shipping costs when we compare that shipping from Santorini was free if you hit a certain threshold. Sharing for awareness.
Each House was unique and expanded our awareness of what makes a good champagne! This was a major highlight of my week and I look forward to returning to the region and exploring different houses the next time!
The only negative was that we did not receive a message the day before telling us when to expect our guide/driver to arrive. That message actually arrived the day after the tour! I would highly recommend this company and this tour.

The vehicle for the tour is a 9 person vehicle.
This tour is advertised for 6-8 people
My husband and I had to sit in the front seats up with van driver because we were last group to pick up in the morning. The seat is a joke!!!! Even if you are BMI>19 or 5’1” tall, there is no way you are going to be comfortable to sit for TWO Hours rides to and back.
And it is not SAFE!!!!!!!
As for the Champagne tasting tour, it is not worth the price you paid

We had a wonderful day with our friends and one other couple. Our guide, Bastien, was police, nice and friendly. His knowledge about wine and champagne impeccable! We tested some really nice champagnes, and the lunch was really good! Also, the sun was shining and made the whole day magic. The car was ok and Bastien was an excellent driver.
Thank you, Bastien, for learning us a whole lot about Champagne and the history.

Wasn’t certain exactly what to expect, but just a day in the beautiful Champagne countryside would have been worth it. What we received, however, far exceeded anything I could imagine. An experienced sommelier named Nicolas to guide us through the labyrinth of understanding champagnes was worth everything. We also saw the production and capping of the bottles.
Most importantly, we learned how to open a champagne bottle with a sword (or even a wine glass if you are really good!). It was a fun and tiring day and worth every penny

Bastien was the best. He went above and beyond. Croissants for the drive. He’s obviously passionate about wine/knows what he’s talking about. My friend LOVES Veuve Cliquot which was not an official part of the tour but as we passed by he made a special stop for her!
The last stop of the tour was at Alain Mercier which was so great, small, I learned a ton! Champagne was great. I have done many ‘wine tours’ and this one was super educational about champagne in particular!

The champagne tasting was incredible. Learned a lot about the different Champagne and even how to open up a champagne bottle. Didn’t go to the known Champagne companies, didn’t like that. We were very tight in the van. There were nine people total and no room for stretching. It was hard to see the countryside from the back row and couldn’t hear the tour person. She needs to have a mic.
