Take off on a time-traveling journey through the Boyne Valley in Ireland, where mysterious vistas and a rich past await you.
First up is the Hill of Tara, home of Ireland's High Kings, which has a rich historical background and stunning panoramas that include the fabled Coronation Stone.
Proceed to Trim Castle, Ireland's largest Anglo-Norman castle, where its imposing walls and lush grounds bring mediaeval tales to life.
Following that, we go to Loughcrew, the location of Neolithic passage tombs with complete rock art covering the inside walls that date back more than 5,000 years.
After our visit, we will eat lunch at a restaurant.
The trip ends at Fore Abbey, the serene remains of a monastery Saint Fechin built in the seventh century that invite reflection amid the resiliency of history.
With stops at both holy hills and monastic ruins, this journey allows you to immerse yourself in the spirit of Celtic heritage and experience a piece of Ireland's rich history at every turn.

Quite lovely.. it was cold, windy and rainy but so apropos for Ireland’s ruins! The greens of Ireland are indescribable. We met an Irish fellow playing hurling with his shepherd dog (named Shepherd). Amazing sense of ancient history and life.

Alec was a great guide with a lot of humor and knowledge. It was really interesting, just we could have had a bit more time for lunch ;-)

The view from atop Cairn T at Loughcrew Cairns was the highlight of the trip. Breathtaking and worth the hike. The other sites were enjoyable to see as well. And the spot chosen for lunch was quite good. And of course our guide and driver were paragons of Irish friendliness.

What an amazing day outdoors exploring the beautiful Boyne Valley! Our guide, David, was a wealth of historical knowledge and really made each of these ancient sites come alive. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife and stunning views at all stops on this tour! Highly recommended to anyone wanting a nice day outside of Dublin city!

We really enjoyed all the sights. There are 2 steep hills on the tour and I have limited mobility (temporarily) but I was still able to enjoy most of the activities.

This tour was excellent. Tour guide was knowledgeable and provided many interesting stories. The walk up to the loughcrew cairnes was beautiful. The lambs running all over were a nice bonus. It was a smaller tour group which gave it a much more personal feeling compared to larger tours ive been on.
