We had an easy time accessing the Castle Saint’Angelo and really enjoyed it. The ticket assistances were able to help set us up with the virtual tour app. Only disappointment was we set out Pantheon time later in the day and never found the tour assistant, so we didn’t complete that add on part of the experience.

I don't remember our tour guide's name, but she was very knowledgeable. She had obviously studied art and history and knew a lot about the Vatican. The museum has so much artwork in it, it's almost overwhelming. Having a guide was both good and bad: she took us to specific pieces and told us about them, then walked us past other rooms. So we learned the history behind several pieces, but didn't have time to stop and look at other pieces that appealed to us. Maybe if the tour had been slightly longer we could have lingered a little. However, there were so many people there it was almost necessary to keep moving.
The tour included the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. The guide told us about the paintings in the chapel before we went in, as there is no talking or photography inside. Then she gave us some information about the basilica outside and left us to wander inside on our own. I appreciated that.

The castel is amazing. The booking ticket voucher system is a shambles.
Each venue should simply have two lines. One for those without tickets and one line for those with barcoded tickets bought on line. The second of these lines, can simply be machine read on presentation of the barcode on a mobile or printed out. If ID is required it can be presented at this time. The current system is a mess.

We were lucky to have Patrick to ourselves. He was very knowledgeable and clearly experienced in working with customers. We highly recommend him.

It was easy to redeem, but not worth it. There is no line to skip mid April. Just buy the ticket there and it would be cheaper. It does not include an audio guide either.

It was a Scam. The audio guide working for less than 5 minutes and for the Pantheon there is no representative to have the ticket from and the other tour representative didn't answer the phone to help. End up didn't get into the Pantheon.

The entry went smoothly. Only the original tickets cost 17 euros on site!!
I think charging 30 euros per ticket here is a bit of a stretch.
This is much better, dear people!
I wouldn't book like that again.

I like imagining how this was used as a fortress. The view from the top was 10/10. The exhibits of the museum weren't that great, but I'm glad for what I got to see. Beautiful setting.
