Captivating Safari Lion Park Experience (Half Day Guided Tour)

It was a great safari as we managed to see many lions, leopardess, giraffes and wild dogs.i would make it again!

Very late very. Thought did one. But I did this tour back in June 2021. Solly is one of the best tour guides in Joburg. The experience at the Lion safari park was memorable but smooth in terms of transportation. Highly recommend this tour company. They also do other tours which I took part in.

Be careful, the hyenas, cheetahs and leopards are in small enclosures. This spoiled our visit. We will not return there.

The trip was great and to See the lions and panthers up close was a great experience. The lion park did a great job showing off and explaining the animals habits!

Had a very nice experience with Solly. 100% recommended to pick him for your tours in JNB. Pick up was on time, nice conversation along the drive about history and Africa. Every thing was as planned and exceed the expectations of what was promised. Very professional.

It was amazing tour and woderful day. Thanks a lot to Solly and driver for well organised tour. We saw many animals, of course line pride, especially we loved line Zulu🦁 he was so gracious. Also there was jirafs, zebr, leopard, puma, antilops, straus, even pumba. We took many photos

This was a good half day trip to see some of Africa’s animals up close without going on safari. It's an hour ‘s drive. Solly pointed things out along the way and told me what to expect at the lion park. At the park Kevin was a great and funny guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered people’s questions. It was supposed to be 2 hours but it ended up being 2 1/2 hours. Kevin knew we were enjoyed seeing the animals. I highly recommend this tour.

This was an amazing experience.The opportunity for my family and I to see big cats up close and personal (from a safe distance) was breathtaking. Looking at the lions and their cubs interact with the pride and natural environment is a must see. The massive size of the lions can only be witnessed up close. I believe the highlight for me was seeing the inquisitive cubs come up to the truck looking for food. The sounds of roaring lions will forever be in my head. The opportunity before the safari to hand feed the giraffes was a hit with the kids. Zebras, giraffes, cheetahs are among other animals you will see. Overall I highly recommend this tour for all ages. The tour guide offered valuable information about all of the animals. The restaurant was also a hit. The food was amazing the kids enjoyed the waffles with ice cream. The day we went was a cold day so the hot cocoa saved the day. Don’t leave South Africa without booking this tour .

We were picked up on time from our hotel and driven to the park by a very informative driver. The staff at the Lion Park then took us on a fabulous tour ensuring we got great photos and time within each area to satisfy us. We then came back to the hotel by the same driver who had picked us up. The driver was wonderful, the Lion Patk staff were wonderful and it was a fantastic experience. Fully recommend.
