WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Cape Town Central
Our tour starts with a pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town and surrounding areas at 9:00am (flexible) on this private tour to Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins colony. We begin with a brief drive-by city orientation tour to see important monuments and building in the city centre.
2. Bo-kaap
From there we will stop in the Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) for a photo opportunity with colorful houses, which carries great historical significance. You may even have a chance to greet some of the locals if they are in sight. Your tour guide will inform you about the colourful houses and their historical meaning.
3. Camps Bay
We take a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, passing through Three Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, Clifton and stop in Camps Bay. Maiden's Cove is the perfect spot for you to create memories with spectacular photos as you marvel at the magnificent views of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay beach. This cove is one of the best places in Cape Town to take panoramic photos of the Ocean, Camps Bay Beach combined with the views of Table Mountain, Lion's Head and the beautiful suburbs of Clifton, Camps Bay, etc... We call this the Kodak moment.
4. Chapman's Peak Drive
Departing from Hout Bay, we drive along Chapman's Peak and stop at the viewpoint for spectacular photos. It is little wonder that Chapman's Peak is one of the most scenic routes in the world.
5. Hout Bay
Travelling along the Atlantic scenic seaboard we will pass through Llandudno, famous for some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa, until we get to Hout Bay. Arrive at Hout Bay harbour, you will have the option to either take a 45-minute boat cruise to Seal Island to view the seals or you can do some shopping at the market.
6. Seal Island
Should you choose to take the optional boat trip to Seal Island, the duration will be 45-minutes. This excursion is weather-permitting. Please take along a light jersey because the temperatures tend to drop when we are at sea.
7. Noordhoek Farm Village
We continue our coastal journey with an optional stop in Noordhoek, with the breathtaking views of Noordhoek and Long Beach beneath us. Travelers will have the option to enjoy some of the best coffee brewed in Cape Town at the Village Roast for their own account.
8. Cape Point Vineyards Tasting Room
An optional stop for wine tasting at the exquisite Cape Point Vineyards will be offered. Surrounded by beautiful vineyards and views of the ocean in the distance, Cool breezes from the sea make for a slow-growing season, with a late harvest that results in a truly unique Sauvignon Blanc that is recognized across the globe for its rich minerality, structure, and tone. An optional sit-down lunch in their restaurant or a picnic lunch overlooking the man-made dam comes highly recommended.
9. Cape of Good Hope
We explore the Cape of Good Hope and take our iconic photo with the Cape of Good Hope name board. Here we will also explore the Dias & Vasco Da Gama monuments. There are also beautiful beaches that you will see along the way, as well as various fauna and flora.
10. Old Cape Point Lighthouse
From the Cape of Good Hope we will drive to Cape Point. Arriving at Cape Point we will have a choice between a 15-minute hike or take the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse. Here we will also explore the most south-western point of Africa, known as the Cape Point, where the cold Benguela from the Atlantic Ocean, meets the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean.
11. Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Our next stop will be the Penguins colony in Boulders beach, where your guide will escort you to the viewing point to see some of the 2500 breeding pairs of African Penguins at close range. You may even find one or two of these enchanting creatures walking alongside you on the boardwalk.
12. Muizenberg Beach
Our return route is past Muizenberg where you will see the colored beach huts. The beach huts are used as changing rooms. These are reminiscent of the “bathing machine” of the 1800s, which was a cart-like structure that was wheeled down to the water’s edge, allowing the ladies to change into their bathing costumes.
13. Cape Town Central
Drop off will be back at guests' accommodation in Cape Town at approximately 18:00 pm.

I liked the tour, I was picked up from the hotel on time, and then taken back to the hotel. We stopped at a local Starbucks, then went to see the penguins, stopped along the way to take photos of beautiful views, then went to the Cape of Good Hope and at the end we stopped at a neighborhood with colorful houses) the tour is in English, and my English is not very good, but the guide tried to make sure that I understood all the information) thank you ☺️

I can not recommend this company, nor the guide, David, to other potential clients. The company was very slow to respond to my questions (had to ask 3 times) and did not share any of my comments with our guide in advance. The company car that was used had a wet/damp back seat that wet our pants, and David’s poor fix was to place napkins on the back seat. Note that I picked a private tour so that it could be modified to change one or two of the stops, with input from the guide, as he was the expert. I asked to discuss it when we got into the car, but basically he took off which resulted in him misunderstanding and we totally bypassed a couple of the locations we expected to go to. We did get several educational spiels, but was stopped from asking questions until he was done. We also wanted to stop for pictures at a couple of overlooks but he was unwilling. David was pleasant, but not friendly, although he was very friendly with the staff at all the parks where we got dropped off at. And everyone should note, this guide doesn’t guide you once you get out of the car at the various destinations. You are on your own. We were disappointed and definitely had a different experience from other couples we met who also did private tours.

I had an amazing time! I personally didn’t feel rushed and felt like I got to see so many different places in one trip. What made the tour especially amazing were the two guides zen and Sylvia, they were so fun and friendly to spend the day with and converse with. It made the vibes feel very familial! One thing to note is the extra costs that aren’t included in the ticket like the entry costs but their description explains that. Highly recommend!

Our trip with Mr. President Reagan as our guide was absolutely brilliant. It was so much fun. Reagan Kuba is a very nice guide, always funny and the best photographer you can have. Pick up and drop off were in time. Perfect :)

We learned many things about bo kaap and cape of good hope. Sometimes we wished that we have more time at the spots. For Lunch we were at harbourview restaurant in Simon's town. This was really bad, if you had the chance, eat in another restaurant.

Jean as our guide was absolutely how a private tour should be! we have seen in a day time some much beautifull sceneries. What we liked about the tour is that we get all details from Jean during a nice drive and stops to Cape de goede hoop and back.

We absolutely loved our full-day tour with Ruben. Worth every penny to be able to go at our own pace with a local expert. It truly felt we were always just ahead of any crowds as Ruben timed everything so perfectly. He was knowledgeable, friendly and enjoyable to spend the day with. Bonus: he took pictures for us throughout the day. We greatly appreciated the lunch booking he made at Two Oceans overlooking the water near Cape of Good Hope. Highly recommend this tour.

We spent the day with Jeff who was friendly, knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough to ensure we saw everything we wanted to. Had a great time, laughed a lot, learned a lot. Would definitely recommend this experience.

Wow what a day! Was tossing up between a private or group tour and definitely made the right choice by going private. Gavin was superb, so knowledgeable about the Cape Peninsula, with so many fun facts along the way. It was genuinely an amazing tour and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
