It is a smaller temple on a strategic hill but is nice to visit because it is not crowded like the Parthenon. Also, the views of the Aegean Sea are breathtaking.

The views of the sunset were great. While the weather wasn’t the greatest, it still ended up being a fantastic experience. Our tour guide Alex was awesome. The only thing I would t recommend is the dinner. Nothing we ordered tasted good.

We had a great time on the tour of Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon trip. Our tour guide Anthony was great. Excellent knowledge on the history of the temple and the area as a whole. We had a great time interacting with him, laughing and enjoying the day.

The drive of the countryside to the site was just beautiful- a whole new view of Athens. Enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and ruins were a perfect end of a great trip. Anthony was a pleasure to ride with and very engaging. Felt like we knew him for years.

Our driver Harry was prompt, polite and friendly. His car was clean and comfortable and he was keen to accommodate any needs we might have had. We left at 8am and had a smooth journey along the coast with a short stop at Lake Vouliagmeni and arrived just in time to be the first in the gate, having the place to ourselves before the first tour bus arrived. The site was what we expected of an important temple on a commanding headland.

Harry was punctual when picking us up from our hotel. Car was clean and water was provided. He answered all our questions about greece and was very pleasant. We made a few photo stops along the way for the beautiful views. We were hungry so we stopped for an early dinner at Harry's recommended 4 Brothers restaurant which was very tasty and reasonably priced. We got to the Temple of Poisidon before sunset and enjoyed the beautiful views of Cape Sounio. All in all it was a lovely experience.

The tour was a great intro into the area and the guide was awesome. Very clean car. English language was good, and he was easy to understand. The tour itself was easy going not rushed or pushy. Would definitely recommend that you try this private tour was what we selected and we had a great time, good value for money. The guy we went with was a down to earth, positive, accommodating guide. We had lunch at a local restaurant which was also good. We have taken a number of tours in other countries and this by far was one of the best ones. The guide is not a “tour guide” but had good knowledge of the area and great conversationalist .

Anthony was a great guide. This was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. Beautiful ride to the temple. The temple is right on the ocean with incredible views of the surrounding area. We were given plenty of time to walk around on our own and never felt rushed.
