Traverse the Cape peninsular in a small group and discover the most dramatic coast in the world. Take pictures in the brightly colored and historic Bo-kaap before you go on to explore the richest floral kingdom in the world at Cape of good hope .Learn about the history of the quaint towns of Hout bay, Kalk bay and meet with the African Penguins at Boulders beach in Simon's town and also the Cape Fur seals at Duiker Island. You will also discover the vibrant Muizenberg beach on your way back to Cape town to complete an eventful tour of the famous Cape of good hope.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Bo-kaap
Shortly after the commencement of the tour, before we leave the city for the coast. We will have the opportunity to make a quick stop in the historic Bokaap to see the brightly colored houses and discover her long history. Your guide will walk you around as you take photos and learn about the history of this neighborhood.
2. Bantry Bay
Nestled at the foothills of the Lion's head mountain is an affluent suburb called Bantry bay. Very well known for its wind free status, Bantry bay has over 250 days of no wind a year which is a great deal in Cape town considering the mother city's windy climate.
3. Clifton
Tucked high up on the mountain side is another opulent neighborhood called Clifton. Besides the expensive real estate, Clifton is also well known for having some of the best beaches near Cape town. The four Clifton beaches that are naturally divided into 4 by granite boulders.
4. Camp's Bay Beach
See the beautiful Beverly hills of Cape Town called Camps bay. Stop briefly to take photos and enjoy the views of the twelve apostles.
5. Hout Bay
15 minutes from Camps bay is Hout bay. A town that is surrounded by the mountains and the cold Atlantic. All the roads that leads traffic here goes over mountain passes. Do not be regretting leaving your passports behind when a "Welcome to The republic of Hout bay" sign appears!
6. Duiker Island
Our journey will have an hour lay over at Hout bay harbor whereby you may hop on a boat and embark on a 40 minute scenic journey to an Island inhabited by more than 5 thousand cape fur seals. You will see the seals from the boat and if you may not be keen to take the boat trip you may spend some time exploring the craft market or even take a 10 minute walk to Hout bay Beach. Please note that this optional extra may add another hour onto the tour.
7. Chapman's Peak Drive
As we leave Hout bay, we will drive onto the world famous Chapman's peak drive. A mountain side road locally known as Chapies. An engineering masterpiece! The Chapman's peak drive meanders for 9km along the giant Chapman's peak mountains that seems to drop into the ocean like an avalanche. You will also have an opportunity to stop for photos and enjoy the views of the Atlantic ocean, the cliffs and the white sandy beaches.
8. Noordhoek Farm Village
At the Southern end of the Chapman's peak drive is a Noordhoek farm village. The whitewashed and thatched buildings operate as shops trading as raw juice shops, coffee shops, bakery, restaurants hand made crafts shop and clothing stores. A short stop to indulge in some of these will be offered to you.
9. Cape Point Ostrich Farm
A mere 200m before the Cape point nature reserve is an Ostrich farm where guest will have an opportunity to stop by along the road and take pictures of Africa's largest bird.
10. Cape Point Nature Reserve
Cape point nature reserve is home to the most south western corner of Africa (Cape of good hope). Rich fauna and flora makes this place a biodiversity hotspot. You will be able to enjoy the views while in the comfort of the vehicle or even by foot.
11. Cape of Good Hope
Famed the corner of Africa. Where the Cold Atlantic and the Indian oceans shares common grounds. The Cape of good hope is however only the most south westerly point of Africa. Hiking trails to the summit of the Cape makes for great activity and sightseeing. The Cape of good hope sign is also another big attraction. Possible different hiking trails will be offered to you from here by your guide.
12. Old Cape Point Lighthouse
Walk or take a funicular (at own cost) up to South Africa's 3rd oldest lighthouse for a 360 degree view of the national park. The old lighthouse was launched in 1860 only to be decommssioned 40 years and dozens of shipwrecks too late after studies proved that its high altitude posed a great danger to sailors around the cape as they couldn't be able to see it in cloudy weather conditions. A new lighthouse was since built at a much lower altitude.
13. Simon's Town
Another quiet and wealthy town on the false bay coastline. The victorian built Simon's town is home to some of the freshest seafood restaurants and where you might stop for an hour and grab some lunch (guide may choose to have lunch at Cape point depending on how the tour goes)
14. Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Boulders beach penguin colony is home to thousands of the endangered tuxedo swimmers, the African penguin! Here you will walk on the beach and take close up photos of one of our flightless birds. Your guide will also provide you with information about the penguin's current affairs.
15. Muizenberg Beach
Muizenberg beach is also known as "The surfers corner". Brightly colored changing huts on the beach makes for a great photoshoot. Provided that we have time and the traffic flow is reasonable, you will be able to have your last stop before the engines steers north for Cape town to finish off a great sightseeing day.

Amazing trip around the Cape! I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get out of the city and see the surrounding suburbs and national parks. Our tour guide was Candice and our driver Bosco. They were a great duo and had a lot of passion for the culture and information shared. They also took good care of us and taught a lot. Definitely money well spent!

It was great. Our driver/guide was an expert at navigating around, knowing where to park, etc. All parts of the tour were fascinating- Cape Point, penguins, etc.

This was an awesome trip. Our Tour guide Candace and driver Bosco were amazing. I’ll highly recommend them for a very personable and fun packed tour around Cape Town. We requested them and had them for all our for tours.

Unfortunately, the planning and management of this trip was appalling. The tour guide/driver himself was late, and was annoyed at us all day, hurrying us at every stop. The schedule was also quite peculiar, as we were given 2 hours at the light house (unnecessary), while we only had 5 minutes with the penguins (which most of us booked the tour for in the first place). Furthermore, the instructions and information given by the guide was very unclear, and no one had any clue what was happening all day. The poor organization and manners of the tour guide ruined a potentially lovely tour.

What a brilliant day. I loved every minute of the tour. Candice and Bosco were so friendly and helpful. Candice was very knowledgeable and I found her commentary very interesting. I learnt a few things that I never knew, even though I lived in South Africa for most of my life !! Bosco did all the driving and did a great job in the traffic.

This full day trip was absolutely amazing. You definitely get your money’s worth. Candice (our guide) and Bosco (driver) were very good, and made sure that we were always on schedule, and because of this, we managed to visit everything that was listed in the tour.
Candice has very good knowledge about this tour and the history of Cape Town, which made this tour even more interesting.
Cape Point has breathtaking views of the ocean and the Cape of Good Hope had always been a must visit for me.
The other highlight of this tour was the visit to Boulders beach, home to the African penguins.
We were a group of 4, and all of us had a fabulous time. Definitely worth it.

Had a great time with an amazing guide Peter. A full day your with all the stops. Peter did a great job to get us to all the places and even calling the captain of the boat to wait for us as we were running late. Going above and beyond. Totally recommended

Candy (our tour guide) and Bosco (our driver) were absolutely wonderful and we learned a ton about the the Cape Town area. It was very comprehensive, from learning about Bo Kaap to Cape of Good Hope. If you're looking to knock all this out in a day, I highly recommend!
