Canyoning and Rafting with Organic Farm

We had a great time with Costa Rica Descents! They promptly picked us up from our hotel to begin the canyoning excursion. We were fortunate to be the only 2 on the canyoning portion of the tour since it was their low season. The staff (Orlando and Pablo) were very friendly and explained many things on the way to the waterfalls. Once you reach your destination, there is a little bit of a walk to the waterfalls. This was my first time doing any canyoning and over a decade since I have done any rappelling! We felt very safe during the rappels and they did an amazing job of explaining what to expect and giving guidance along the way. It really was such an amazing experience and I highly recommend doing it at least once!
We then were taken to meet up with the rest of the group for whitewater rafting. In total, there were about 15 people with a maximum of 6 people per a raft. This was my first time ever doing whitewater rafting so I had no idea what to expect! We had an amazing guide, Kevin, who made sure we were having a great time and guided us effortlessly through the rapids. He really helped make it an amazing experience!
Halfway down the river, we all stopped for fresh fruit and drinks. You have to bring your own drinks so we bought some cerveza at the market before heading to the rapids. Pura Vida!
After the rapids, we went back to the organic farm. I would recommend bringing a towel and an extra set of clothes for after all the water activities. We had a delicious and filling lunch and Costa Rican coffee. We then went on a tour of the farm and tried the sugar cane. Warner was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
We really enjoyed this gem of adventure in La Fortuna and highly recommend using Costa Rica Descents for this excursion. Pura Vida!

Went to the canyoning and rafting trip with my parents, such a fun experience! Absolutely love every part of it! Reasonably difficulty level for all population (including older ppl).

We left at 7 am on the way to Cayoning with Chamo and the team. A luxury of experience, very careful, with the measures to meet the objective. Beautiful waterfalls and descents. The team is a luxury of company.
Afterwards we went rafting and our guide was Osvaldo and it was all adrenaline. We felt very safe and comfortable the entire trip. It was a wonderful experience.
I would recommend them a thousand times.

Very good experience with the company. The guides are very attentive and the tour is very safe. It's worth it. Oswaldo was our rafting guide and he had an amazing time! Very entertaining. During the canyoning, our guide Chamo made us feel very safe and had an incredible time. 100% recommended Costa Rica Desents!

Very fun experience. Guides are knowledgeable and professional, point out many animals along the rafting tour. We felt very safe the whole time. 3 waterfalls for rappelling - two you get under the water, one you are dry. Delicious fruit & lunch after the tour. Worth every penny!

Best Days Ever! Seriously.
River rafting with Costa Rican Descents is a must do activity for anyone visiting Costa Rica. CRD provides nature enthusiasts the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Costa Rica with a side of adrenaline.
Each raft is manned by a trained river guide that ensures you and your families' safety. The river guides are knowledgeable about local culture, flora and fauna, and wildlife. They are also the most fun loving group of people. John Carlos was our captain, he made the whole trip exciting.
The next day we booked the CRD Canyonieering Excursion and our minds were blown by the beauty we encountered. Our canyon guides pushed us to the limits as we repelled three “breathtaking” waterfalls. Their repelling expertise and state of the art gear made us feel safe to push our limits!
The two days we spent with Costa Rican Descents made our stay in Costa Rica truly unforgettable.

Phenomenal experience! We had so much fun! Shout out to Orlando, Pablo and Jorge who made our experience fun and safe. We did canyoning in the morning then rafting in the afternoon and we ended with a delicious lunch and tour of the farm.

We had a terrific time canyoning and white water rafting! Our guide Gravim and Pablo were amazing as instructors for our water rappelling. Pablo really knew his plants with neat scents including mint, menthol, and anise! We went down 3 different waterfalls and felt very safe the whole time. Gravim really helped us feel alive during the water rafting, gave clear instructions and showed us many animals along the way!
