If you love tacos, you'll love this tour. We enjoyed authentic tacos at restaurants where the locals gather. Each stop offered a new experience. Each stop was delicious. If that's not enough, our guide Gib and driver Leo were fun and made the tour very enjoyable. I highly recommend this adventure!

Never even got picked up by the company for my excursion and was unable to contact anyone via phone, email, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp. As a travel agent myself, I would be very weary of sending my guests with a company that is so unprofessional.

The food was amazing, and we certainly had plenty of it! However, there was nothing about murals or artwork within the city. We were somewhat disappointed. However, if you are just looking for a gastronomic delight, this tour is just perfect.

What a great tour! Do not eat anything before you go on this tour—it is a lot of food. It was all delicious; it was my son’s favorite part of the trip. Diego was a great tour guide

On the first day of our vacation, my family and I waited in front of our hotel for a pickup that never happened. Disappointing—it was too late to book another activity for that day. My impression was that the woman from the tour company who answered the phone was very uncaring. She didn’t offer an explanation or apology, although with some persistence I was able to confirm that they had our reservation. We ended up rebooking for another day.

Fortunately “take 2” went off without a hitch. Diego, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable. This was a great opportunity to sample authentic Mexican food away from the tourist areas. The market was an interesting inclusion and welcome break from eating. We were completely satisfied. No mention of murals, though.

We were picked up by Alex, our driver, and G, our tour guide for a private tour. We are huge taco fans, so this was high on our list, and didn't disappoint. The van was incredibly clean and nice and cool in the March heat.

G explained to us that Mexicans typically eat large breakfasts, a moderate size lunch, and smaller dinners, and let us know he hoped we were hungry.

First stop was for carnitas and a coke. The carnitas taco was massive. My only complaint was that my taco was a little undercooked, so had to pull out a little bit of it. Otherwise, fantastic.

Second stop was at an amazing local bar that serves the best horchata. G taste tested for us, and we got to enjoy a breakfast taco and drinks. The decor was amazing and staff was super friendly.

Then we got some time at the market. It was super needed because the first two tacos were massive. We got time to explore around and shop, and then got back in the van.

Next stop was for the super rich, suadero taco. G let us know it was considered impolite to not drink the broth afterward. We were already full, but when the meal came, I thought "This is tiny. Easy." Don't fool yourself -- the taco is super rich with amazing local cheese. It looks like its' 1-2 bites, but took us 4. The broth is super concentrated as well and hearty. Afterward, I was ready for a nap. Thankfully we got to get dessert and some sugar in our blood.

We got to do a walking tour of the murals and learn about their importance. After that, we wrapped the tour up and were dropped off at our hotel.

A great experience and would definitely do it again!

Do not eat breakfast before you start, as you need to save stomach space for all the yummy food!

All the food stops were delicious and we appreciated the explanations about the different regions as well as the drinks. The dessert on the last stop was also just the cherry on top.

I also liked that we had some time to shop at the craft market and fruit market, which made it a really great morning!

I highly recommend this tour!
