the impressive views. The place is rustic but it is worth it for the surroundings. You have to know these hot springs if you go to Mendoza.

This was probably one of the best days of our trip. This is a must do. We were a group of 9 students from the US.

Pickup: They picked us up at our hotel around 8:30AM and then drove to xnoccio adventures where we changed and then got on a big bus. The driver spoke English and the bus was clean and he was a safe driver. The bus drove us into Potrerillos where we stopped at a scenic overlook and took pictures before getting to the rafting location.

Rafting: The guides spoke English and gave us a long safety talk before we suited up in wetsuits, life jackets, sun protection shirts, shoes, and helmets. We all felt extremely safe and like we were prepared to deal with any situation. The rafting was about 45 minutes and extremely fun. We went through rapids and paddled hard - we are all in our early 20s but there were older people in our group that had fun. The guides asked if people had physical limitations and were very helpful at guiding us through the rapids. There was a rescue kayak with our group. It was not relaxing as much as it was thrilling. We were soaking wet and kind of dirty after but all of us had an amazing time, even those of us that were scared. They sold us pictures for 15,000 a raft, which was worth it when you split it 6 ways.

Ziplining: We got back on the bus and went to Cacheuta where the zip lining and hot springs were. We put on clothes and got strapped in to harnesses. The zip lines were two separate zip lines for about 30 seconds. You zip line over the river. We all felt very safe. We even saw someone get "stuck" in the middle and someone from the company went out and got them. It was the right amount of scary and fun.

Hot Springs: The hot springs were so much fun, so relaxing, and very local. There was a town area just outside of the boundaries of the hot springs where there were a lot of food and water options, and sunscreen and little stores. Inside the hot springs there were a lot of pools, a kiddie play area, three water slides, big fake waterslides, and a lazy river. It was so relaxing and fun. We rented lockers for 1500 pesos (they make you put down a 1500 peso deposit to give the key back). There is also a little store inside of the waterpark area and tables with grills. I would say the life guards are probably less present / diligent than they would be in the US but it was never unsafe just maybe if you have kids probably watch them. It was so relaxing and fun, and the views were incredible. We also went down to the river and spent some time there. Most people there were not tourists but rather locals which made it feel like a hidden gem. It was so amazing.

Dropoff: They waited for everyone to get back on the van to come back into the city and dropped us off at our pickup points. everyone fell asleep in the van from the long day.

TL;DR
We felt safe, had fun, and were in awe of the beauty of the mountains this entire time. I could not recommend this experience more.

Rafting was amazing and beautiful but we only rafted a 6km section, not 12. This was the best part of the day and in the future would skip the "warm" springs for longer rafting section.

Awful. Overcrowding. Dirty water, it was a filthy broth. They want to become America by adding a million people. Disgusting

Was a great option to do something active and relaxing. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was it took a lot of time to get to the rafting. From pick up until rafting it’s was nearly 4 hours. The rafting was an hour so a lot of prep and wait for the activity. Be mindful that this group activity takes time. The time at the thermals was good about 2.5 hours. Overall everyone was great and we felt safe and had fun rafting.

This was great! The thermal park was a great way to relax and embrace the nice views, and the rafting was a great way to put some action in the day. The staff were helpful to get me around despite me not knowing lots of Spanish.

The termas were as expected, with nice restaurants around it.

The rafting was not so great.

Note that this is not size inclusive. I wear a UK 14 (US 12) and I struggled to fit in to their largest size, so if you are this size or above then the rafting isn't for you. I appreciate that I should have messaged ahead to ask, but it would be great to specifiy this maximum in the description.

The reason for the one star, and the worst part was when I tried on a large wetsuit, and it didn't fit, then a extra large, which still didn't fit, my partner asked for a larger size for me and the guide was really rude and instead of providing a larger size started raising his voice and loudly saying that he'd already given me a larger size and that 'I could wear whatever I wanted'. It's absolutely fine to not cater for larger sizes, but politely getting another size or letting someone know that they won't be able to participate is much better than raising your voice at customers.

Luckily one of the other guides kindly helped me out, and after asking the problem, got me a different wet suit which fit me, which I was grateful for.

Our rafting guide was really nice, but I was too upset to enjoy myself. A really rubbish end to our trip to Argentina.

Also note most of the Tour is in Spanish, apart from a few instructions despite booking an English tour.

On the transfer back to Mendoza, we were dropped off at a really strange bar in the middle of nowhere with no information about why we were there, how long we would be there, or what we were doing there. We were there for around half an hour just waiting.

For US & Canadian travellers. The rafting was a great time really great way to spend time with the family. Disclaimer you don’t really need runners if you want to pack light. Make sure you bring towels. You can rent a locker at the hot springs to leave your stuff. The hot springs are fairly underwhelming compared to other places I’ve been too. Think of it as a water park more than a spa. Overall if your looking for an adventure it’s a good day. Many restaurants to eat and relax.

Our rafting guide was awesome! Pascua was really knowledgeable and made us feel safe and able to have a lot of fun! We loved the pictures they took for us too. Zip lining was a fun way to start the day with a pretty view. The hot springs at the end was perfect after the cold rafting water! Just a really great day.

The tour operator (Xnoccio Aventura) is great, staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.

The rafting was great. I went in mid-March, so it might be better at other times of the year, but I would definitely call these "Beginner" rapids, not "Intermediate". That said, it was still plenty of fun and the scenery is amazing!

From my standpoint, the hot springs were not as great, which is not the fault of the tour operator in any way. It's a very cool location, but WAY too crowded with people (and most of the pools needed to be at least 9" deeper). That said, again the tour operator was great, helped make sure I had a locker to keep my things in, etc.
