If in Cabo, you must do this tour! Our tour was out of San Jose del Cabo since that's where we were staying and we didn't regret it! We had such a great time eating, drinking and learning about the culture and history of the different places we visited that day. Tequila tasting as well. Our guide, Gilberto, was the absolute best. We'd do this tour again in a heartbeat! So much fun!

Review for reward SCAM! We participated with another pair in July 2023. It wasn’t authentic al pastor; they cooked it on sticks rather than from the traditional vertical spit. The tour leader got very annoyed when we explained orange sauce from SF Bay Area as if it didn’t exist, even though the recipe is from Mexico. We had a very short time to taste the food, then they wrapped it all up and wouldn’t let us take it with us. Please note that the table was being cleared as we were still eating. Even though we went and picked out all groceries as part of our experience, we weren’t allowed to consume even half of it. It was mostly packed up as food for their family I guess? We were hungry just a short time later. Halfway through, they walked us through leaving a review for them, kinda forcefully. Probably why you see nothing but 5 stars… it wasn’t until after we left the review that we were given some cheap aprons, then found out we weren’t allowed to take the food, and then scammed at the tequila tasting. We were taken back to the pickup location to do a tequila tasting. We were heavily pressured to buy something. They stated $25 for a souvenir, charged $30, plus extra because the conversion when using a card benefited them even more. Avoid these dishonest people.

We had a great evening with David as our guide on this delicious food tour. We were taken to many different little local restaurants and he introduced us to some tasty local eats. We were definitely stuffed by the end of our tour, and he was still offering to let us try more food. We did this tour on our 1st day here in Cabo, and we were able to enjoy going back to several of the locations during our stay. Thank you David.

Great experience! Miguel did a wonderful job. He was full of stories and tidbits about their culture. Most of the places we visited were off the beaten path and more for locals so they’re places I probably wouldn’t have gone on my own. Worth every peso!

David Gallardo did an excellent job explaining the foods we ate and giving us tips on down town Cabo San Lucas. He is a super tour guide. We are recommending our friends and family to take this tour with David.

We had an amazing time with David on our Cookin Cabo Juan More Taco Tour. We tried many different types of tacos, homemade ice cream, sopas, and the tour ends with churros and tequila tasting. It was nice to go to all the great little local places. Bring a BIG appetite! Try their cooking classes also as they are the best there is and so much fun.
