Total ripoff. $139 admission/person. $45 parking. $45 two chx sandwich with two cokes and one fry. $5 dollars for the privilege to get on sky ride. Do yourself a favor and go to Universal or WDW, both are much better values.

Not happy at all. I was at Busch Gardens 2001 and it was awesome. Had so much fun and lots of water rides ect. Had free lockers. My friend and I told everyone we knew that bush gardens was much better the Disney.
Well my sister and I just went Jan. 21 2024. Went on only 2 rides. 1 roller-coaster and 1 water log ride. We bought the yearly pass $132.00 each personfor the two parks plus the one free parking because it was cheaper then buying a one day pass for $99. Per person Plus $30.parking and only 1 park. We did that because we thought we could go more times and just pay for parking while we were in Florida for the month. Here is what our day was like. Half the rides were closed. Only 1 log water ride was open. Some roller-coasters we open but was not a fun day. Now they had lockers that cost $10-15. because you could not go on rides with any kind of backpack. And you had to move your stuff from ride to ride from the lockers. The train that goes around the park where you get on and off was closed. At the end of the park going out the train was finally open but only went around the animals where in all we saw maybe 25 animals. But we could not get off in the park just around. We were very let down waste of money for us. We found out later when we got to our friends house that Busch Gardens was bought by another owner and this is why it's not the same. We'll I will be telling everyone I know about our experience. It was not worth it to use at all.

This is a good park for the 12-17 year old crowd. Tons of rollercoasters.
If that is not your thing, stay away. Some nice animals, but you pay exact same cost of entry ( a zoo only style pass might be a good idea). Parking was $$ and not terribly organized, food and drink are also pricey. Seems like in park specials always had a catch. Then to take the gondola across the park to see animals —again extra cost.
Shows were ok, but just ok.
If you really want to have an amusement park/zoo type theme—maybe head East on #4.

Lots to see with many good animal exhibits, all of them apparently well cared for, and a variety of rides, appropriate for various age groups. And some good animal presentations and shows.
Unfortunately some of the rides and animal exhibits were closed.
Wear good walking shoes!
The food and drinks are outrageously expensive, take your own.
Look for online discounts.

Honestly, we went to Magic Kingdom and Busch gardens, hands down we enjoyed Busch gardens better.
Disney rides for younger kids are short, slow and huge queues.
Busch gardens have exciting rides with far less people to wrestle with.
Looking back the day was just overall more enjoyable for the whole family.

When we arrived at the park we went to get our tickets scanned and were told that our passes were not for park admission but only a “Fast Pass”. We couldn’t even gain entry to the park. Upon realizing this was were quite upset and asked for assistance. We spoke to a nice gentlemen who advised us of the error we made in purchasing the initial tickets online. He advised us that he’d “void” out our initial tickets that were purchased in error, and get us the tickets that we needed to both get into the park and also gain admission to the “Fast Pass”. He said he’d be back in 15 minutes and true to his word he provided us with the correct tickets of which we paid another $420.31. He advised that he voided out the initial charges of $320.32 and that we should see a refund to our credit card within 5-7 days (receipt/proof enclosed).

I went to check my credit card statement last night and the initial charges were not refunded. I then called the customer service number (813-884-4386). In speaking with a representative there I was advise that the initial tickets were “used” that they could not refund our money. These tickets were never used as they were supposed to be voided out when our new tickets were issued. On two difference occasions I was told I’d have to physically go to Busch Gardens in Tampa and request a refund in person. Twice I told the representative that I was from out of town and that this wasn’t an option. I went back and forth and once I realized that I wasn’t getting anywhere I asked to speak with a Manager. Upon my request I was told that a Manager couldn’t assist me either. Nevertheless I still asked to speak with Manager and twice was denied my request. Feeling neglected and clearly not being helped, I advised that I was recording our encounter and that if he didn’t forward me to a Manager I’d file a formal complaint. At this point the representative reluctantly placed me on hold and advised me that he would forward me to a Manager. I sat on hold for 45 minutes but a Manager never took my call. Unfortunately I couldn’t wait any longer as I had a Zoom work call at works and had to hang up. About week later I e-mailed this time (versus a call) and was told twice I was not allowed to speak to a Manager. I’ve NEVER been denied access to a Manager at any company in ,y entire life.

This entire ordeal and been the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had at an amusement park. The experience completed ruined our day. Even though we paid for a “Fast Pass” we were only able to go on TWO rides the entire day due to how crowded the park was. Each ride we waited for over an hour. When we tried to go on a third ride we were told the “Fast Pass” line was 60-75 minutes long and at that point we had enough and left the park both frustrated and in disgust. While I understand it was a holiday week, I am not clear on why Fast Passes were clearly oversold. Waiting over an hour for each ride is not my idea of expectation of paying extra money for a “Fast Pass”.

Highway robbery. Horrible, stressful experience. Way over crowded, long lines, terrible food. We waited in line to watch shows but never got in. They were over crowded. Long lines for bathrooms, rides, shows, and restaurants. Bought a 2 park all day dining and only got to go to 1 park because Adventure Island was closed. They refused to compensate me by extending the life of my tickets. Don't waist your time. They take the fun out of vacation. Never again!

I signed up for year pass using ezpay then the company extended my renewal without new authorization. They said it is written in the terms and conditions that I need to call to cancel and they will not refund previous monthly payments prior to my cancellation notice. I only signed up for a year and this policy is just a scam.

My friend and I attended the Busch Gardens New Year's Eve event. We arrived at 8:00 P.M. because the park was staying open until 1:00 A.M. for New Year's Eve. I paid $152 for park entry but I figured if I was paying full price everything was up and going. When we entered the park we almost needed a flashlight because it was so dark, but I figured that was part of the ambience so I went with it. We immediately went to stand in line for the ice skating show that started at 9:00 p.m. We waited probably 30 minutes in line before the line started moving. The line got to the front with five people ahead of us and they stopped the line and informed us they were at full capacity and it was the last show of the night. We decided to go ride the train around the park next after passing two animal exhibits that were closed for the night. As we were approaching the ride the train was leaving and they told us it "might" be running again in 35 minutes but they weren't sure, to come back and check with them later. We decided to stop at a concession stand since it was cold to buy some hot chocolate. We were informed they were out and that it would be about 20 minutes before they could make some more. I went to another concession stand to buy a fountain drink. They were out of fountain Cokes. I discovered this after I was sprayed with the remnants of the sticky brown water that dispensed out of the machine. I went back to the concession stand and told them what happened and to just give me a bottled Coke, only to be told they were out of bottled Cokes. I had now been in the park well over an hour and all I had done was walk around trying to find something that was either running or open, to no avail. I went to the bathroom to wash the sticky Coke off and there were used feminine products on the FLOOR of the bathroom and toilet paper all over the floors. It was literally one of the nastiest bathrooms I've ever been.

Next, we came up on a second train that was running so we got in line. After about 20 minutes in line they came on and made an announcement that they were experiencing difficulties with the train and that it would be about 15 minutes before the train arrived back to pick up the next group of guests. We waited awhile and they came on and announced "we have bad news. The ride is broken and won't be running again tonight." At that point we had had enough. We literally had done nothing to this point for $152. We started trying to find our way back to the front to go to Guest Relations to complain, and we walked in circles, passing the same things four times. We couldn't see the park maps because it was so dark, and when we finally found one we had to use our phones to see them to try to figure out where we were. The park employees were zero help.

We finally found our way back to the front and went to Guest Relations to tell them what all had been going on only to be told that tickets were non-refundable but they could give us a voucher to return another day when all of the exhibits were open. The lady told us we should have gotten there earlier if we wanted to see the animals. First of all, because the park was open until 1:00 a.m. that night we weren't expecting so many things to be closed or not running, especially after paying full price for a ticket. If we had paid half price we wouldn't have had room to complain. We explained that we lived over 13 hours away and wouldn't be able to come back, so they told us to call their 800 number to complain. At that point we elected to wait the hour and watch the fireworks, which I do have to say were really good. In essence, we paid $152 to watch 10-15 minutes of fireworks, not counting our Uber rides.

I can honestly say this was the hands down worst experience I've ever had at a theme park, and I've been to theme parks many, many times.

Save your money. DO NOT GO TO BUSCH GARDENS TAMPA until they get new management or until some things majorly change!!!!!! All they want is your money and they could care less about your experience!!!!!
