This is the political center of the country. Once here you leave the van and yout tour guide will lead you around this square, introducing you to our history, economy, politics and culture
2. Catedral Primada
It is the church where the Pope Frances used to celebrate mass. Also you will see the Mausoleum of Gral. San Martin, our liberator. The tour guide will lead you inside.
3. Cementerio de la Recoleta
It is one of the "must" of the city, considered an open sky art museum, the place where Evita Peron is buried. ADMISSION TICKETS ARE NOT INCLUDED (U$D 12.- per person po be paid at the entrance by credit or debit card)
4. Teatro Colon
Consider one of the best opera houses in the world.
5. La Boca
The old port of the city, the place where Tango Music started 150 years ago. Famous for the colorful houses and the stories about inmigrants. Lets Dance!
6. San Telmo
The historical quarter of San Telmo is the oldest of the city, plenty of antique shops, bars and bohemian atmosphere. On Sundays there is a famous flea market. We also visit the Food Market.
7. Recoleta
Elegant area, plenty of "French Mansiones"
8. Puerto Madero
The newst part of the city, the area where everything is dedicated to the women. We cross the famous "Puente de la Mujer" built by the spanier Santiago Calatrava
9. Obelisco
Built in 1936 commemorating th fundation of the city, the "Obelsik" became in an icon of Buenos Aires,
10. Casa Rosada
The Gov. House. You will see the famous balcony form where Evita used to talk to the people.
11. Piramide de Mayo (May Pyramid)
One of the spots of "Plaza de Mayo", around this monument the mothers of the people kidnap illegally in the 70 meet every week. Learn about this bloody time of our history.
12. Museo Nacional del Cabildo de Buenos Aires y de la Revolucion de Mayo
Old City Hall.
13. Palermo Chico
One of the most exclusive areas of our city, where many embassies are set.
14. Rosedal De Palermo
If we have time, we can stop to appreciate one of the largest rose gardens in the wolrd with more than 18.000 rose bushes.
15. Bosques de Palermo
Palermo Forest is the local version of the "Central Park". 900 acres of parks, trees and nature.
16. Avenida 9 De Julio
Considered the widest avenue in the world, it has 16 lines.

We had a blast with our guide. We had been to Buenos Aires once before so our guide customized the tour. We went to the market, stopped at a few bakeries, ate empanadas (delicious), saw some sights we missed on our first tour 4 years ago and had lunch at an Argentinian BBQ restaurant. Great time, great guide.

The tour was fantastic! Lourdes our guide and Quique our driver did an excellent job. They took us to visit all of the important "barrios" of Buenos Aires. Highly recommended!!

We had an absolutely incredible day touring BA with our tour guide Lourdes and driver Gustavo. They hit all the highlights of this great city as well as some special request stops. Both were personable and had a great passion to share and show this great city. We would highly recommend this tour.

There is so much to see in Buenos Aires that a driver and guide is the only way to experience the best of the entire city. The time in the car can be spent talking to your professional guide about all the things you want to know about the city, the country and the life of the people. When you are walking to the sites you can enjoy the experience without needing to stay close to a guide. Our guide was delightful and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful day!

Our tour was by car and had a driver so our guide could focus on us not traffic. Our guide Rosty was an amazing person. He is passionate about his city and allowed us to customize our tour. Rosty suggested places we had not heard about and his explanations were interesting and detailed. We were able to provide input into the time we spent at each stop depending on our interest. We were all over the city and felt we saw the highlights in our one day. We had lunch in the market and really enjoyed the beef and other sides Rosty suggested we try. We highly recommend this tour to get a feel for the city so you can explore more later or if you only have one day in Buenos Aires.

Having 5 hours to kill before departing Buenos Aires, I booked this private tour for my friend and me. We had the most amazing tour guide named Rosty who knows practically everything about the history and city of Buenos Aires. He asked us our interests and tailored the tour to meet our expectations. We went to the Metropolitan Cathedral and he gave us the history and significance of this cathedral. He took us to lunch at one of 12 most beautiful cafes in the world, Confiteria Ideal, which rivals any cafes in Vienna and Paris. We also saw the most beautiful bookstore in the world. This gives more insight into Buenos Aires beyond tango, Evita Peron and La Boco. We also had the most patient and friendly driver named Alex who finally dropped us off at the airport for our flight home. This was indeed a pleasant and interesting interlude before heading home. We learned more about Buenos Aires than we did with the group excursion offered by our cruise line.
