Sorry understand the history but not worth the money . We paid just over £40 sterling and did not even get a tour guide .

Good history of the synagogue and documentation of the horrific challenges the Jewish community had to endure over the years. Only issue was the large number of people. Hard to hear and move around the facility.

Well worth a visit, this is a stunningly beautiful building with a well-known tragic history. The Moorish revival style is wonderful to see. As it is not possible to self-tour the one thing that made this a four star review was it was almost impossible to hear our guide. Her command of English was impressive but the size of the group and the presence of other tour operators talking to their groups meant her soft voice didn’t carry. Most of the time we could barely hear her and missed much of the presentation. I noticed other groups with headsets and a guide with a headset microphone. That would have made a world of difference.

The visit to both this Synagogue and the Rumbach street Synagogue, were great and worth the ticket. In particoular the guided tour were very interesting and the guide very nice.

Our guide Kristian was very knowledgeable. He imparted great knowledge of Hungarian history, history of the synagogue and some fun facts too.highly recommend him

Great guided tour of the synagogue and garden. Our guide provided historic overview of tragic events, explained architectural details, and allowed time to admire the beauty of the interior. We also toured the memorial garden where we heard more historical details. Very informative.

Very informative. Our tour guide had a lot to share and was patient in answering questions. Given the opportunity to tour on our own after official tour was over. Worth the visit!
