Andrew was a perfect guide for making the most of our tour to the market. Without his knowledge we would have missed so much. We sampled food, learnt about the local porcelain and embroidery, explored pickles, scones, etc. We were looking to do something a bit different than the normal sightseeing tour and were not disappointed.

Monica was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The group was small which was a bonus. The strudel shop and coffee were a highlight for me

I honestly could not have asked for a better way to see the city and learn about the culture. Our guide, Greg, was knowledgable and his enthusiasm was contagious. I would highly recommend this tour - worth every penny.

Big thank to our guide Levay for this walking tour in Budapest! Was really lovely and interesting conversation, many interesting facts about old and recent history. Nice little trip in subway. And the best moment - stopover for delicious strudel pairing with good coffee in a very authentic bistro.

Petra was amazing,she made it so interesting and she was very sweet!! We loved the whole tour but we both thought the tour should of included the shoes on the river especially when we were so close to it!!

A fantastic introduction to Budapest, saw areas we probably wouldn’t have seen or understood the history of if it wasn’t for our amazing guide Esther, who was passionate & knowledgeable. Loved the stop for strudel, very yummy and the tour finished in the beautiful Fisherman’s Bastion area with stunning views of the Danube river and the city, would highly recommend

Wonderful tour, fabulous tour guide Andy!
What I loved about it:
Andy is clearly in her element leading these tours and teaching about the history of Budapest and Hungary in general. She is personable, patient, and speaks English very well, so we had no trouble catching the details.
The tour is just the right size. We passed many larger tours, and it would not be possible to get the same insights and personal attention.
She explained the metro system well and added little quizzes and other methods to engage her clients. We felt comfortable with how to navigate back to the start point at the opera house after the tour ended. (Bonus: Visit the coffee shop across from the opera house before you start the tour.)
Wear comfortable shoes because you'll cover a lot of ground.
