The tour will approximately cover a distance of 4.5 Km which will mean that you will get to see about 70% of the main attractions in Bucharest.

I got really lucky today when Lucia greeted me at the tour starting point on a cold and drizzly morning with the news that I was the only member of the tour. I took the opportunity to ask many detailed questions and Lucia seemed happy to answer every one of them. Having studied political science in school, she has many thoughts about history, political systems, taxation, etc. Like many many people who grew up in the years around the revolution of 1989, she cares deeply about her country and it shows in the the depth of her knowledge and the passion she brings to her storytelling. One of the best tour guides I've experienced. I highly recommend her.

This was a well-paced walking tour. covering about 3 miles in 2.5 hours. Alex is very knowledgeable on all topics, from history to geography to politics and we learned a lot about the development of Bucharest from its inception to today, particularly including the Ceaucescu era. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyable and highly informative. Alex our tour guide spoke excellent English and is so knowledgeable, told us so much of the history of Bucharest and Romania and took us to see so many important historical buildings and areas.
He also gave recommendations on where to eat, which we followed and we weren’t disappointed.
We were very lucky with the weather on the day.
The tour was about 2 and a half hours and we walked 10k steps including getting from our accommodation. The cobbled streets of the old town are very damaged in parts so you need to be careful of all the ‘potholes’.

Lucia showed us several beautiful buildings and sent us many great suggestions for things to do in the city, however the best part by far was learning about the history of the country and memories of hers and her family.

Lucia was very knowledgeable and gave us a great insight about growing up in a communist country. We covered a large area of the city and were encouraged to ask any questions we wanted. It gave us a good base to explore the city on our first day. Great to end the tour at the Parliament building, Lucia was happy to take photos of us with it in the background.

Fantastic! This was a great walking tour and our guide was brilliant. He was really personable, incredibly knowledgeable. He took us on a wonderful tour of the city, described in detail, and answered our questions. He also recommended a few books to us about the history of Romania and the city, which was great.
The tour itself is brilliant for first-timers to the city and for people with interest in history.

This was a wonderful tour well worth the time and money. Lucia was an amazing guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I would 100% recommend this tour as a must do and Lucia as a guide. She even sent great info on what’s app which I used and referred to after.

Our walking tour of Bucharest this morning with our guide, Lucia, was excellent. It was very informative, interesting and enjoyable. It is ideal as a introduction to the city and its history. We were most appreciative to have Lucia as our guide as, besides telling us so much about the city, she very kindly sent us extra details about places of interest, shops and restaurants. Our guide made our tour fun with her sense of humour.
