I did the Bucharest Half-day City Bike Tour with Lucia and loved it. Meeting up with her in the morning was easy, she communicated well beforehand, and she gave clear instructions for following her on the bike; once the tour had started, she was attentive to my interests, interspersed the city's and the country's history with personal stories to bring it alive, showed me a ton of places which I would never have discovered on my own, and gave me good recommendations for things to see and do further. I would recommend Bike the City to people who want to take a break from the museums and immerse themselves in the city, and I would highly recommend Lucia as a guide.

It was a nice trip along some of the major sights in Bucharest.
It was also nice to hear the history about each place.
As a person who loves cycling and learning about history, this tour was one of the highlights of my short trip to Bucharest.

One of the best ways to see the city. You’ll see more this way than either waking or taking a bus tour. Lucia our guide also went out of her way to ensure everyone was looked after and also provided a lot of tips and advice for other things to see and do.

Our bike tour was a small group of just 5 and our guide. Our guide was Alex who was absolutely brilliant. His commentary on the various political sites we saw and history of Romanian was both interesting, witty and amusing. He has a great sense of humour! We would really recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see a large amount of the city in quite a short amount of time.

I was a little worried about doing this bike tour, but Bucharest is pretty flat, so I didn't have problems pedaling around. We never went very fast; in fact sometimes trying to get across streets and navigating around people on the sidewalks, we were going too slow to even keep the bike upright! I enjoyed the bike path portions and going through the parks. Going on the streets and in high pedestrian traffic areas was more stressful. One suggestion would be to find shady spots with seating areas if stopping to give long explanations. Standing in the sun for long periods wasn't the best choice. But otherwise, a great tour.
