Savour the bay crossing and take in stunning views of the island from aboard the ferry, which is equipped with modern amenities for your convenience—including a lounge where you can unwind and enjoy prime vistas. Ferry crossing is just 10 minutes.
2. The Neck
Discover the views at the Neck Wildlife Reserve and Truganini Lookout, now featuring newly opened and beautifully constructed walkways, viewing platforms, and staircases designed to accommodate visitors of all fitness levels. Please note that passes to the National Park are provided in your ticket. However, as Tasmania is made up of 40% National Park, we suggest securing a pass via the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife website if you plan to explore any more of Tasmania's 19 National Parks during your visit. Often visitors venture into a park without realising. Please advise us if you do already carry a pass.

In the morning, we will visit the Cheese Company to select and purchase an assortment of cheeses for your enjoyment during morning tea. We will then find a picturesque spot on the shores of Adventure Bay to present you with a lavish spread that includes not only the fine cheeses but also succulent oysters and freshly baked bread. Later in the day, if time allows, we will return to the Cheese Company so you can choose some delectable cheese varieties to take home with you.

It was a light day at Bruny Island - checking the lighthouse, relaxing at the port, eating fresh produce (oysters, cheeses, honey, chocolates, seafood). Thanks to our guide's hospitality. Itinerary was well-planned and well-executed. The oysters and honey were exceptional!!!

Great day out, from pick up to drop off. Rick, our driver, guide, comedian, caterer and time keeper made the day even better and provided so much info. So many highlights...the Neck, Get Shucked oysters, bread and cheese for morning tea, white wallabies, The Lighthouse, lunch, even a stop at the famous Bread Fridge, and picking up some cheese on the way home. I loved that we were on a schedule, not rushed but no waste of time hanging around. Top day!

We had a great day on Bruny Island. Leigh was the perfect host, providing us with a background on all the sights. Matt took us to the top of the lighthouse which I highly recommend. The weather was also great! Thanks Leigh and Matt.

We had a fun day with a great guide, Dave, and group of friendly people. The day had great scenery, delicious food, interesting facts and a laugh along the way. We would definitely recommend it if visiting Hobart.

This tour is great format and opportunity to see the island from Hobart.

However if you are a foodie, I would not recommend this tour. Even though it says food tour, I found was not a food tour for food lovers. There is amazing food, but the guide I had was did not provide an experience I enjoyed or where I felt the appreciation was on the food eg im not going to read those cheese tasting notes as they are wanky.

It was a sightseeing tour where the guide did share information about the island but mostly information about himself, rushed us alot and spoke about tour rules excessively.

This day trip was a great day out. Grant our tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable about the island and took us to all the well known spots. Pick up and drop off was easy. Food throughout the day was delicious - especially the lunch at the Bruny Hotel. (The lamb was superb). Well organised trip - especially out to the lighthouse. Would highly recommend.
